Bro, don't go for the original tires, only Mazda SC has them and they're stupidly expensive around 350-380 ringgit. You can go for 195/55 R16, it fits ok on our rims. Can easily find this size around RM220-250 each.

noticeable tyre noise, but you hardly hear the engine roars when speed goes beyond 90kmph (almost can't hear it), better than honda city. wind noise is minimal (almost absent, depending on your hearing sensitivity), but you can hear the sound of motorbikes and lorries passing by.

however, when on uneven road, the car will "bounce and vibrate" maybe due to "hard" suspension.

Got the letter from Mazda last Friday and made appointment for the replacement. Seems for Mazda2 only. No reason given in the letter on why it needs recall and replacement.
