Finally after exactly 2 years and 30k...the infamous battery maintenance icon pop up... So time to change battery I guess... Did a few call to some of the service centre... And seems the price differ from each centre... The 1 and equine Park is cheapest so far at 675...still quite high comparing to outside at 485 which some forumer have claim to get... Bros sekalian can share where to get best price for our battery?

this varta I just seek for quotation is RM520 , actually the 1st 2-3 digit is like our common battery mAh like that is it? how big of a difference between 90D, 95D and 115D?

I chg to the varta 115d23l... 1st 200km review... I think the fuel efficiency is bac to when I 1st get the car... 190km only drop 1 bar.. The previous battery when changed tat time still left 40% only... Haha... Maybe it have some effect on the car... Not too sure... When u guys changd battery Especially outside 1...did u guys keep the casing that come with the battery (the grey plastic sheet) #note don't throw that away... That is 1of the main Item that protect ur battery from the direct engine heat... Which if not in place will reduce the lifespan of the battery tremendously..

I got it from another forumer as well as mentioned b4 its rm520 with installation and istop resetting. But the it seems @zerosp is also offering 115 at Rm510... Can consider ba...haha

Today is the 1st one my car died on me... out of sudden in traffic . My car jus died . Engine jus shut . 1st I thought I must have forgo to off my I stop. But I remember I switch it off. Then no matter la press it again.. nothing happen.. try press brake and start button.. the ignition starter jus whining but the engine won’t start.. thoughts is battery( as I jus change it like a few month back) so off everything lor.. but u know our car la radio can’t off de.. so jus off the sound .. press the start button again.. same the ignition starter jus whining again , engine won’t start. So on the hazard light since I m in the middle of traffic . Wait for 2 min off everything (take out the charger port ) make sure tat Aircon was off as well.. try again.. this time after a 5 sec whining of the ignition starter the engine started..

My question this is battery issue or something with engine. My thought is could not have been battery right since if no battery my car could not even start in the 1st place and it was after some 20 min ride and a stop at a traffic it died on me. I m worry is the engine fuel or air management or worse maybe the alternators.. any expert have experienced same thing?

Yeap indeed .. check with Jason of batt ranger where I got my battery.. there was no issue with my battery . He is kind enough to do a diagnostic for me.. and informed me that Actually it was my immobiliser triggered. He said either is due to remote battery weak, car immobiliser got issue or something else. Guess will need to visit SC soon to sort this out... Haish...
