QUOTE(madman20 @ Sep 9 2016, 08:48 AM) If on highway - yeah..since the bends aren't tight.. Remember that we have TCS now, do remember to turn that off before further testing The stock tyres are great in the wet..it's skinny thus cutting water easily..PLUS many thread lines which improves water dispersion.. Well..it's my own preference to get better dry tyres since I don't drive fast in the wet..max about 100kmh..avg about 90kmh I have yet to test out how's the tyres in dry..but I had some "sneak peek" during my first 1k..I think it could do better |

QUOTE(chuinwern21 @ Sep 15 2016, 06:46 PM) Hey brother, yes my main concern is this high maintenance AFTER the free service period. Hi, off topic. By any chance, r u frm Penang? Not only money is an issue, the time i have to wait for certain rare spare parts is also another issue, plus, if got breakdown in highway and have to call local foreman for fixing, there is a high risk they won't know how to repair as compared to a T or a H. Really down now. |

QUOTE(madman20 @ Oct 25 2016, 04:39 PM) This is quite a scary thought actually =/ I used to do that too, but after a while I just leave it on, can decide at any moment if I want it or not I've been enabling my i-Stop only at long stops..other than that I'll turn it off (orange light) Too much manual labour to off it every time |

QUOTE(milyk @ Oct 23 2016, 06:55 PM) Hi, IMO, not a necessity but recommended if you have the extra $$ to spend. Is nanocoating or glass coating of the paint surface necessary or highly recommended? For soul red color. Guess depend on quality of the coating, body coating can protect ur factory paint, protect from contaminants, easier to wash and dry, car more shiny shiny and the 1 I really like, little cushion room for light scratches/stone chip Personally I find Glass coating really helpful, side mirrors always clear regardless of weather, and in heavy rain no use wipers also no problem |

QUOTE(madman20 @ Oct 25 2016, 05:04 PM) Hahaha..I'm quite used to it now already xD Yeah so far no issue found, just added some paint chip here and there and deep scratches at bottom of front bumper Yeah..saw that also..placing a paper piece xD How's the car so far? So far so good? XD QUOTE(frozen7 @ Oct 25 2016, 06:54 PM) Called up the sales person, he advised me to go Glenmarie SC to do something like "recharging" the battery to settle this problem. I'm guessing re-charging the battery sounds like a very short term solution I went to kepong SC instead since it is nearer for me, that guy said have to change battery. Now in dilemma either to change the battery or to settle the problem at Glenmarie. Since the change of battery can be claimed only once during the 3 years warranty period right? If "recharging" at Glenmarie can settle this issue, at least i can delay the changing of battery at later years. |

QUOTE(milyk @ Oct 25 2016, 05:21 PM) Nope, I myself havnt do any haha.. not sure if those high end expensive one really worth it or not also QUOTE(frozen7 @ Oct 25 2016, 10:02 PM) The sales person did mentioned that other M2 drivers also did the same by sending back for recharging to solve this problem, and only Glenmarie SC able to do this. Think many had this issue. No one here face this problem before? My car mileage is around 20k+, and 1 month to go to reach 1 year. But if warranty period still long, no harm trying also QUOTE(madman20 @ Oct 26 2016, 09:15 AM) OUCCHHHHHHH..I had a scratch under the front lip also..thankfully underneath..was at Fraser..they recently tar the road and where I parked was slightly lower..moved up slowwwwlyyy..but still kena =s Mine underneath too so haha pretending I dont know about itSide note..a damn cockroach went into the front of my radiator grill..I hope it got out last night Guess wont reach cabin |

QUOTE(zaneq87 @ Jan 16 2017, 01:01 AM) Hello.. good day everyone.. I'm a newbie here whom planning to buy a Mazda 2 HB / Sedan.. is there anyone whom can advise me on the car feedback? What I search thru from this thread is the handling itself are great, but what bout the other? For example the fuel consumption? Full tank will be how much n will be drive for how many km? Sorry, am a noobie here which know nothing bout car.. 😬😬 wow.. din't know the price went up so high now I'm in love with Mazda 2 but I still hvnt get a very detail info bout this car. Am afraid after buy this car will hv lotsa tiny matter that need to be solve.. According to setia Alam SA, this car will Cost 97K.. any other branch will be selling cheaper the that.. Looking forward to all of you the master to advise me on the car.. Thanks in advance ya.. 😁😁 why I pickd M2 over competitors (B-seg) - Great interior design (I drive quite a lot too, interior design is my priority) - Overall great design - Great to drive - Great fuel consumption - Well equipped (High spec city dsnt even hv reverse camera that time and almost same price) the downside for M2 are - rear legroom - wind noise insulation not that good - lower resell value QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jan 16 2017, 12:18 PM) Almost want to get Satria Neo I upgraded from Neo too, I can say m2 rear legroom is just marginally better thn Neo HahaAudio, can say dont expect too much This post has been edited by Ericz: Jan 16 2017, 12:27 PM |

Just curious, if we change to 'normal' common battery, will it
- damage some parts of the car after prolonged usage? (and possibility of voiding warranty if SC spotted it) - car will not behave as it should? - just i-stop will not function? - everything fine but regular battery will die lagi quickly? or bit of everything This post has been edited by Ericz: Feb 7 2017, 05:04 PM |

Hi Guys, I'm too not going for any performance mods for this car, not even VS and grounding cables.
Don't mind minor cosmetic mod tho, anyone know where I can get boot lip(spoiler) for sedan? Full width like the pic in first post. Thx. |
