This 2 in 1 module is not Mazda Genuine Part, but it's aftermarket CANBus module...
Don't install anything in Chin3S, they used to "potong" customers...
I bought the same module from Equine Park only RM230 (member's price). They do free installation as well, but I DIY tongue.gif
*

I dun know Ipoh where got this to install ahh mah..

of course I can't see the part, but got Mazda service centre receipt...
*
some mym2 members in ipoh already install it. as my observation from M2,M3,CX5 members,
This so call "authorize" mazda accessory is GS who is crony of Berjaya. They use separate module for Lock & Fold. not like pizzy said 2 in 1.
Tell you what, their auto lock module need to cut wire...

They did offer me for auto lock module which cost almost RM400. but i did found the same module from out source that charge for RM250 only.
in the end i did not install this module since they cut wire. the 2 in 1 module is totally plug n play plus is cos much less from install separately.

Authorize or not, since they cut wire they got point to spin when problem occur.

Also, I am looking for the armrest for Mazda 2...
Any recommendation?
*
last time got 1 person sell ok armrest with ok price. not sure he selling anymore. try to join Mazda2 & Mazda CX-3 Skyactiv Driver Malaysia group. this is closed group same as strict as mym2.

if you want premium armrest that cost more expensive than you might join Mazda 2 central market group. you may found Justin Oi there which is also mym2 member.

if you want mazda genuine armrest.. i dun know any lubang for this. but i myself already see for this item for real which is to be install by one of cx3 member. this cost much higher than Rati Armrest that justin sell.

Dear sifus all,

Friend currently considering Mazda 2.  His concern of Mazda 2 being unable to mirror Android phones.

Has anyone done anything to the head unit so it could mirror Android? How much it cost?

Would really appreciate any advice. Thank you all.
*
there is someone who selling 1 module to make mirroring posible without distrub the reverse camera. but it cost almost 2k

We need to compare to ensure its value for money. We never buy anything based on 'like' alone.
*
If value for money is you want definitely Mazda 2. Quality, look (subjective), driving dynamic and equipment already win
if practicality is what you need than City.

from your pdf, you did not mention about mazda 2 got 3 year labor and part free maintenance. while Honda 5 years for labor only.
i got a table about mazda 2 value of each service from 1k-60k (3 years). it sum up to 2.2k worth.

compare on 10k service, mazda 2 just cost around RM220. while my dad city almost or around RM400 if i not mistaken.

QUOTE(RicoT @ May 13 2016, 11:40 AM)
Original tyre size 185/60R16
Original rim size 16×5.5J ET50 4×100 M12×1.5 CB=54.1

Some owners changed to
• 205/55R16 0.8% bigger
This is the maximum width stock rims can support. 205 wide tyre is at 5.5j rim upper extreme limit, so there will be some cornering performance degradation, according to some owner's feedback.

• 215/45R17 0.4% bigger
Change to bigger rims
*
Correction
• 205/55R16 +0.56% bigger
• 215/45R17 -0.49% smaller

our rim is 5.5j which mean max recommended tire width is 195. 205 can fit but not ideal anymore..

Thank you for all the info. I plan to change the rim and tyre size to either 195/55/r15 or 205/55/r16. My only worry if i change to 15inch rims, the car will be lower.
*
car wont be lower is you follow the stock diameter.

if you take 195/55/R15 than it will be smaller by 5.24%. lower around -16.45mm

Yes, but it's weird, sometime we dunno why we need the Daylight LED, driver sit in the car without the chance to look at it haha, but notice from the pic the Sedan back look a bit inbalance from the pic, but in fact if you on the road and look closer it look better than hatchback in my personal opinion, but hatchback look quite small on the road, but it's has a fiercer cute element look la, see what you want in the end, Sedan boot space also larger a lot hmm.gif
*
if you dun want the led headlight than trade with me. i give you all the upgraded bulb to you tongue.gif

A closer look at the LED, really a fine piece of art and technology, the curve and shape is not seen anywhere on the road, is it? Even on higher model like Mazda 3, CX3 and 6? wub.gif
*
Mazda 3 use xenon headlight. very smart. CX-3 much nicer headlamp than m2. M6 facelift and CX-5 facelift also use same tech as m2

Hmm it seem I dun like the Mazda 3 design, Mazda 6 a bit for business boss style, Mazda CX3 so far is the one that look better stylish to me, the LED got zoom zoom feel wub.gif

M3 still look better than m2 anyway biggrin.gif

From my conversation with SA few months back, in 2015 it's optional but in 2016 it's included package.

Personally I dont really care body kit or not, as long they get rid of that bloody ugly spoiler ( HB ), it doesnt looks good IMO.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
seem to me your post picture like does not have any spoiler at all.

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 24 2016, 07:58 AM)
I'll trade the whole body kit, for just this single spoiler, and shark shape antenna pls  biggrin.gif

isn't this the spoiler that bermaz give? i not really aware of HB tho. but that triangle at both side of screen we dont get it. make the car look more bulat2.

Below one on mine, which I presume all 2015 HB that opts for it, and could possibly same as 2016's ( not sure )
i do think after the bodykit promo, all the car after that got the same kit.

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 24 2016, 09:18 AM)
On my previous post, that one looks slimmer/thinner and slick. There's also some part near each end of it.
*
i highlight it many time already. the bodykit that bermaz give is from GS. obvious one is sedan. mazda japan does not make any bodykit for sedan.
and that sedan spoiler also not the same as Mazda genuine part.

coating does not prevent from stone chip. so does this kind of calar.

but it will keep the clean look of the car. more easier to maintain.

if you do coating they will polish your car 1st before added the additional layer of coating.

worth it or not depend on how you sayang your car.
