wondering also.... New city ad give 4.5 k rebate.

New vios also giving 7.5k rebate.

Mazda2 give 0 rebate....
*
cos Bermaz aka Berjaya treat Mazda as a premium brand

why other brand kasi discount cos they could not achieve their sales target...
why mazda don't kasi discount cos their target is still on par why wanna lost out on the margin to give out discount
so how to force mazda to kasi discount.. don't layan the brand lor.. kasi dia masuk cold list.. but but the car is just too hot to handle.. susah mau resist.. laugh.gif
easily said.. supply and demand...
I heard CX5 is mazda best seller... until 2nd hand car dealer queue up to take up any owner that wish to sell theirs...
Mazda 2 & CX3on the other hand is produced in Thai & japs respectively, hence Bermaz have no cost ... got order baru order lor..

Honda got their own plant ...need to fulfill plant min output..
Toyota selling u old tech and a premium price hence got a lot of margin to let go...

Hi all,

Just got my aluminum metallic m2 last two weeks and I noticed this rusty little fella on both my front left and right wheels. something that I should concern?

another thing is I noticed that my car once stuttered very badly when I changed from D to R. i suspected that it was because of the istop kicks in too soon when it passed thru N but im sure I shift the transmission pretty quickly. anyone experience this before?
*
same case happen to me.. I mean on the rusty little fella u saw there... went to the SC during the 1st 1k service.. .they just clean with those steel brush, apply some grease on it... I saw how come like tat.. he saw as M2 is transported via sea wor... few weeks at port at thai, and m'sia then few weeks on the sea to m'sia.. so some oxidation lor... but assure me no harm done... I was like hmm.gif sweat.gif ... but till now no more sign of this rust la... lolz...

Has been following this thread for a while and read some reviews, considering this car, need some advice from you all.
there are mixed reviews on the NVH of this car, just wondering if someone can tell me how bad it is compare to maybe myvi or vios (these are the cars i use for commute)?
Will changing tyres improve the NVH? Seeme like not many tyre size available, Toyo Nanoenergy 3 195/55/r16 seems good in noise and not too bad in traction, any one tried?
Can the MZD installed papago navigation?
*
NVH, apart from rain noise especially the roof, somehow i felt it is thinner than myvi... up to 140 is okay compare to myvi... 150-160 the wind noise become more noticeable...

tyre chg will for sure helps... Michelin xm2 boleh kot...

what is there nearest size for xm2 that can fit m2 rim?
*
205/55 R16 91V
or
185/55R16

based previous forumer said... 205 is the max width our rim can support...
205/60 R16 92V possible but not sure the extra width can compensate along with the original thickness of 60 or not..

i somehow still felt our rim and ride heights is more suited with 60 thickness tyre... just my personal thought...

hmmm..from what i read here is the rim is 5.5 j and max support is 195, 205 still can fit but not ideal
*
u r right... for now i can live with the dunlop ... although i am tempted to change to bridgestone re003...but tat would require a rim changes... so lets revisit again after 50-60k la... laugh.gif another 1.5 year maybe...

Thanks for the info

My last servicing, sent the car to the service center in jb after few months late, they want to charge me for the engine oil and oil filter. But I insist I will not pay, so they call kl and discuss about 15 minutes and let me have the free servicing. So now a bit paranoid when doing servicing at mazda
*
late few month? mean u added few k to the mileage?

current tyre apart from a bit noisy... I think performance wise in wet and dry still good la... dry at 160 still fairly good.. wet at 140 also still good..

Hey guys,

Did anyone here upgrade to a Mazda 2 from a Myvi?

Would like to know whether the upgrade felt significant from a personal viewpoint.

I know it's subjective but it would be nice to know what other people feel.
*
power, look, drive-ability, fuel efficiency, mazda 2> myvi
rain sound, passenger space at the back myvi>mazda 2

M2 LED = yes

Latest rumors = 3k increase & NO FOC bodykit.

Not due to USD increase, but more like YEN increased a lot.

Used to be RM3.30 to 100 YEN.
Now its around RM4.05 to 100 YEN.
*
it is a bit funny though.. its not like our m2 is import in from japan... instead i understand it is fully from thailand...so how does increasing YEN affect the car price?
dont tell me the CKD part cost from japan to thai is charge to the final cost as well..? hmm.gif
pretty mess up if like tat , no thanks to our great mighty premier.... sweat.gif
