Please take a look at my DVD player. I bought this car but I never use the video feature before.
So when i tried to play a video, It seems like not working... Just a black screen.

I use the video format as per instructed by guideline in book still not able to load.

Any sifu could assist?

guys, my car is forte 2012 2.0, recently i have the issue whereby the steering has no reaction when steer to left with speed over 90 kpmh.

Brought it to SC for inspection, based on the device scan report, it stated that the power supply over supply power to the MDPS resulted steering malfunction. They replaced the battery and after a few days of testing, the issue seems resolved. The SC claimed that the battery i'm using is not compatible and shouldn't use in forte 2.0. However, the battery was previously replaced by SC and not from third party.

The issue really dangerous and nearly causing accident during highway drive.\

Do you guys think the SC diagnosis make sense ?

Hmm.. the problem is.. sometimes when i start the car and drive, it is cold.. but most of the time, it's blowing normal temp air. I suspect something longgar d.. you manage to get it fixed?

Greetings, my original boot tray was damaged. Currently there's no cover and it's open space where the tyre be seen.
Do you guys have any idea where to get the replacement and what's the cost?

If you notice,with tyre on in the boot, there a difference of heights cause by tyre in the middle itself. The EVA material is soft type material which is ok when there's flat platform to support it.
Original tray I got quoted is RM320.. sigh

Am planning to get a pre-owned Forte 2.0. Surveyed one today and it was manufactured in the year 2013 and selling for RM62k. Is this a good price? Furthermore the previous owner changed the sports rim. Does this void the warranty of the car? And also how do I check whether the warranty of the car is still valid?

What is a good brand to go for? Would it be recommended to change the rims as well? Stock rims and tyres still on mine.

2K for both rims and tyres? Sounds reasonable? If not will just for for tyre change. 2.5 years about 27k mileage does it crack so fast?

Hi Guys,

need urgent help.
Just now after i stop and shift the gear from D to P (gentle), suddenly feel/heard some sounds on the gear handle. Then i try to shift to R/N/D, it can shift to that position but felt like loose (the gear handle) while shifting and the meter indication still shown as "P" only and the car wont react in R/D anymore!!

After i shift back to P and off the engine for 10 mins and restart, then only the gear engagement come back and work ok. Although the gear handle sounds not so firm now as before while i shifting, but the meter indication now is ok and drive normal.

Any quick idea what cause the loose gear handle while shifting (why suddenly lost) and even now the feeling is like not firm and sounds like it will loose anytime.
