My forte 2011 1.6sx (142k mileage) already got "kuk kak kuk kak" sound while driving and steering got almost same sound or "tak tak tak" when pusing even when the car is not moving. From what i read in here its normal and to change quite alot of parts. Went to 1 of the specialist in the list from the 1st page and they tell me need to fork out more thn 3k to fix. But then i just change rear n front absorber at my fav workshop hoping that the sound will dissappear. Unfortunately those sound still there. Any1 can suggest should i just buy parts myself and ask my workshop to replace or go to specialist again let them fix. any1 noe the price for these parts?

1. Lower arm 2x
2. Absorber link 2x
3. Stabilizer bush 2x
4. Tie rod end 2x
5. Rack end 2x
6. Ball joint 2x
7. Absorber mounting 2x

Those list given by the specialist workshop in order for me to get rid all those sounds.

I did show him the list n he disassemble almost all parts in the list n he said there is nothing wrong. He's kinda suprised as well when i show him the list.

i got quoted like this by autosaver too, they just are lazy and looking for quick buck

gave them 2 chance on different occasion, i personally find them very business minded
i dealt with their femes manager not their normal staff

if go for normal service okay la, senyum senyum easy task both happy ending
if u request for diagnose, test drive/ketuk one time then confirm all rosak ask u tukar all related parts
if unlucky just shooo u away 

thats why i say they business minded not dare say they penipu sial
they advice to replace all, all problem will disappear and we wont bother them, win-win 

previously i check+replace parts for 3-4x then still cant solve, so want to try them
i told them direct as i expected them to be encouraged to prove they are better, simply layan and shooo-ed

while their arch rival done good job spending time solving the problem slowly in another few visit

Shud i just go sc ask them check or any suggestion better kia specialist. Btw the specialist i mention b4 is not autosaver.

How is the spare part price? Reliability? I might get an used unit. So dont care about what resale value.

Quick update on the front suspension noise. The Seri Kembangan SC tells me that it's the lower arm bush that's degrading, thus causing the noise. Currently it's still ok but sooner or later will require a change, meaning that the entire lower arm needs to be changed, not the bush, and that would be about another RM1k.

Hmph...time to actively look around.

anyone know where we can get quality bulb for rear lamp?
my right side burns out twice in 2 months.
(if just on light ada, but when press brake tarak become brighter, both time oso same symptom)

not sure if it could be the bulb socket? do i need to get new lamp or socket can be replaced?

suddenly budget?

how to check whether the stabilizer link still in good condition? i was told by a workshop that need to take it out n test drive....

For those who are the Forte 1.6 SX owners, a question to your guys.

I am the 1.6 SX owner and I know that 1.6 SX is using hydraulic power steering. I feel my steering is quite heavy when I first day take the car in 2013, agent told me that 17 inch tyre is like that.

Recently, I drive my friend's first generation myvi and the steering is super light, the first gen myvi is using hydraulic power steering too.. I can use one hand to turn the steering for myvi but I need to use both hand to turn steering for Forte 1.6 SX...

May I know whether is my steering hydraulic system having problem or is normal???
