Based on the lv of the weapon not character. They're kinda cheap if you buy those non enchantable ones. No need o farm so hard, you'll out lv it very fast.

To be effective, the monsters level should be plus or minus 2 levels from the level of the Avatar weapon?

I thought Avatar weapons can't be bought/sold? It's bounded to you the moment you've collected all the runes?

I'm just farming for golds now, mainly farming for materials, craft them into potions & sell for golds. Gear wise, I usually use the best ones I got from dungeons.

Yes, its bounded, you cannot buy it, but honestly thats the only gear you need till 60. Those blue armor is good enough. If you are just grinding mobs, you'll probably out lv it in a day or two.

Honestly I think it's best to not waste time and level up to 65 asap, especially with the new big patch coming next week. This game is max level centered so you won't get much out of it pre 65 (unless if you enjoy the story line).

Skip all except for vanguard quest line, which starts from level 60 to 65. Don't forget to turn on 100% quest gold boost as the vg quest line gives you a lot of money.

Well, you don't wanna look boring so get yourself a cute outfit if you've a decent gold

skip all quest, do Vanguard Quest (press H button), until you are level 60. from Level 60 u go do the FoA quest line till 65 while also still doing Vanguard Quest.

just come in this thread. if i want to play tera and is a new player. follow the lving guide u mention around how many hours need for max level? gunner or lancer is the target play character. btw anyone know pvp or non pvp server has more player base?

Vanguard Quests are those Initiative quests right? It's usually kill 3 or 5 BAMs & there'll be at least 1 dungeon to go.

So it's really ok to skip the main storyline quest.

The fastest for me was 2 days, duo with a gunner during double exp - just pure grind to 60 and quest to 65. Of course it could be faster if you dont stop to rest/eat/sleep

No idea which one has more player base. But I guess most of us are in Celestial Hill.

Those vanguard before lv 60 only gives exp which helps you to lv a little. Vanguards after 60 will start giving you credits that can be used to exchange for crystals, glpyhs, eq, etc.

The only story chain that needs to be done is the one starting at lv 60 - "Supply and Demand". It gives you a set of lv 65 gears at the end which you'll need for end game dungeons. The rest you can skip them all. If you want to do it for achievement or for fun, you can always come back for it.

Ahaa......noted on that. I just thought that I can't access new dungeons if I don't progress through the main quests. I thought the dungeons are part of the story line. Didn't know its independent one.

So all my exp boost & gold boost scrolls are best used when I hit level 60 with all those awesome vanguard quests?

Btw, is it worthwhile to do the recent farmer events? Like due to the hunter gift box event, I made quite a fortune out of it via selling those boxes.

Lv 60+ vanguard got daily limit of 16, resets everyday at 8pm. The rewards are not affected by exp/gold boost. Use the quest gold boosts to boost gold rewards from completing the story quest.

The foods are pretty useful. you can get and sell or use in future. Or just do it to get the achievements.

The vanguard quest is like kill X mobs then you submit to get some exp. If you're grinding on those mobs its just like a little bonus exp to help a little.

Its really up to you, you can do story quests to learn about the game. Or just grind on mobs. At the beginning, you still have to do the story quests until you reach Lumbertown or something.

Vanguard/Initiative Quest start at Level 13. like the above poster say, up2u how u wanna go level. Traditional Quest also can, do Vanguard Quest also can. both also can. up2u.

He's talking about vanguard dailies. For the level 60-65 quest, just use whatever boost you have, gold, exp, reputation. If you're an elite you shouldn't worry too much about this since it's turned on all the time.

I'm what my friend would describe as.....a freemium player, so i don't wanna waste those boosts lol.

If you're a serious player, who plays like 5 hours a day, then I'd recommend getting one. Tbh it's much easier to make gold with elite. If you don't wanna spend any money then I'd highly suggest you to save up 20k gold and buy a 30 day elite voucher, you can easily make that money back in a few days if you do your dailies.

Just wait for the inevitable cries if its gender locked.
