huanwen, try use a table/stand fan to blow directly to your laptop. if can, put something below the laptop, make the ventilation better. i use this method when i on my laptop whole night for bt, the average temperature for cpu, ram, hd, etc is 33c only.

did the bottom of your laptop got enough ventilation? if it is cover by some thing like book or you put on top a bed, probably the ventilation is not good and cause the heat goes up.

thumbup.gif for your bro,
i think i need to re-do a bit of my sticker ...
not enough patient i guess
even i tried hair dryer also cant
*
try apply some water on the cover before you put the sticker on. then use ruler or card to wipe the bubble out to the side. need to be extremely patient and careful when doing that, if not the sticker get damaged, that part will hold bubble and may not be able to remove. try use soap water if normal water not able to remove the bubble out.

i need to ask how do u order the bluetooth module, im interested too biggrin.gif
*
just email them or call them. make sure you call the sales department. if you email the sales department, they may need to forward your email to the sales department and that may take one more day.

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Oct 20 2006, 07:59 PM)
I dont recommend putting water with the adhesive. The sticker wont stick properly. You have to smooth out the sticker as you apply slowly. Smoothen it as your lay the sticker across the panel.
*
the CF sticker is sticky one or just like those normal screen protector? if it is sticky one, will it be able to re-stick it again and again?

QUOTE(KeV @ Oct 20 2006, 06:43 PM)
check ur ram before buying 667 ram, i think 2300e only comes with 533 ram, like most dell laptops, use sisoftsandra to confirm, im using twinmos now
*
t2300 support up to 667Mhz FSB but not means that it will comes with 533Mhz ram. it depends on what you order. you can order 667Mhz ram if you got enough budget.

use cpuz to check the ram's brand. it is much faster because it no need installation like sisoft.

well ur lucky u were given 667 ram, i was given 533, so yeah ur lucky lar, even for a samsung
*
it is not given shakehead.gif u get what you paid for. you order 667Mhz ram, of course dell give you 667Mhz ram. you didn't top up the money for upgrade the ram, of course they gave you 533Mhz ram. if it depends on lucky, everyone will sure complain to dell to ask for lucky upgrade processor, ram, hd, etc.. sweat.gif

Guys, I am having problems with my firefox (1.5.0.7) and lowyat.net forums. That was what happened, I quoted and posted my message, but ended up with some weird coding.

I resorted into installing and reinstalling firefox, tried the latest beta, but still something is wrong.

Here's what I always get if I post on lowyat despite typing a long reply.

Bro, IE7 is no longer beta bro. I am using it.  icon_idea.gif
*
it is not beta, but it is still not a finalize software. some website declared it as beta or pre-released browser and prevent it to enter. i faced this problem before.

if it is finalize, M$ will include it into the windows update, right?

And here's the search in google

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls....11&sa=N&tab=nw

A lot of number of sites have concluded that this is the final version.

My IE7 isn't tagged the RC version.

Hope these will clear your doubts.
Bro, from what i know, it is not possible to change the lcd from normal to truelife.

However, ram upgrade is definately possible, you could even do it yourself.  thumbup.gif
*
i just checked mine. it stated there RC version. i just started to use ie7 for not around 2 week time, and Microsoft already update it to final version. thanks for the info.

Yeah, even with my carbon fiber color kit, it needs a big box with padding.

Kinda wasteful.... I better recycle those boxes.

Anyway, anyone interested to buy the Carbon Fiber Color Kit?

I feel like letting go mine.

*
wire+adapter, carbon fiber color kit, both are quite big actually, still ok to use big box.

u know what, i order the bluetooth module, they separate into 2 box, 1 is the module, 1 is the plastic handle for putting the module on it. both are very tiny little thing like thumb size only. if the box put together, it is the same size like the lcd screen, sweat.gif like one rice in a plate like that, it make me shocking.gif when saw the package arrive my place... sweat.gif

one thing to ask about the electricity leakage.

it is because the adapter did not grounded properly. but if we didn't touch the ground, like sitting on a chair without touching the floor, will the current shock us?

haha...that's a good question. wonder who comes out with so many different names.

last time, just one cd-rom enough. now,
cdrw = cdrom + cd burner
combo drive = cd burner + dvdrom
dvdrw = cdrw + combo + dvd burner

troublsome the user only....
