5400rpm, that speed is normal. ya slow.. but 14", if i7 QM... its normal with uncomfortable heat... thats why.. if i7 HQ, QM better go 15". cz inside not that pack. back then, i think envy always overheat...

i turn my notebook 24/7.. even my desktop too. amd since 2011 is very disappointing. even until now. i used to be amd fans.. but.. now.. i feel very disappointed. my laptop, amd phenom, still use until now. its been 4 years already.. almost 5.. still kicking. amd heat always been an issue too. amd notebook for gaming, need think twice.

i clean it once in 6 months.. cz i 24/7 on.. and dust inside really accumulate very fast. reapply thermal paste... also helps a lot.. and i do it my own even i do service to my fren as well.. i open many kind of notebook..

can, why not cz its sucks everything.. max the power.. wait the warranty finish.. then can open it

erm, last time, my bro in law ( that time haven become bro in law), he teach how manage the screw and how to dissemble and assemble as well.. every laptop have their own design.. not all have same design and screw position.

if u less use optical disk drive.. i suggest you remove the odd and replace it with SSD but put the ssd in the optical bay. tadaaa... have extra storage.. install ur OS on that ssd

cable helps u to use odd to use externally...

no need buy external ODD.. the current ODD that u replace it can become external ODD just the ODD slot is now replace with ssd only. the cable is usb/sata which can turn the odd to external odd.. sounds good isnt it

gta 5 game, med or low... ermmmm below 1.5kg... i dont think u will get that notebook below 1.5kg.. unless below 2kg, might be have.. this is best bang for bucks

that ODD bay is use by SSD... then... u have 2 storage lo... then that ODD turn into external.. cz have sata cable that can make ODD still operate as usual.

asus eebook x205 has excellent battery life. i think that is suite for time being for u while wait for Mac.
