Why not get a laptop and a tablet instead or just a tablet.

Already got ipad. Dun like too much goods make me headache and some ebooks I downloaded from laptop needs to move.maybe coz ipad, maybe android better?

Regarding on the Acer V Nitro

The current one is selling for RM3709 inclusive of GST , should i get that or the refreshment variant where the GPU is upgraded to GTX960M , which cost RM3999 inclusive of GST , is it worth?

Ok, so the question is whether the performance increase from 860 to 960 worth the price? You be the judge since your the buyer.

From benchmarks, 960 give a ~8percent boost compared to 860. Happy hunting.

look at Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012 - 10.1" IPS Touch + Z3735 + 2GB + 32GB + 500GB + W8.1 Bing + Office 365 : RM1315
another is Acer Switch 11 SW5-171-337K - 11.6" IPS FHD Touch + i3-4012Y + 4GB + 60GB + W8.1: RM1820 but out of ur budget range.

Acer V3-112P-P0SJS 11.6” - RM1210 also have decent battery life. estimated is 7 hours on heavy usage.

for ur usage for presentation, i think switch 10 much suitable u. not much different in screen display as well as have detachable keyboard.. need type, its lousy to type on screen and a bit slow,then use keyboard. present ur work, detach it..

Low cost and detachable notebook. you can stand around during presentation cz its detachable The Switch 10 is in the same price category as a Chromebook or mid-range 10-inch Android tablet.

fyi, there is always pros and cons between android and apple. but current apple product is different than steve jobs era as for android, its have a lots of supported apps but many bloatware as well

Think of it this way. The extra from Acer is for the after sale service (if they are alot better than Asus). If not if you can look pass Asus after sale service, then go for Asus (Quality is good).

To you , personally which one would you take tho?

A quick search (I do mean quick search) about Acer after sale service wasn't pleasant. If i were to choose i go for the lesser evil. ASUS all the way (Quality is good), Acer do seem to have some (QC problem, I might be mistaken though.) Happy Hunting.

asus G series... because of the build... heat dispersion design is very important... the fans inside also quite good to disperse heat... so, u wont feel much heat on ur palm rest

Yeah man. By comparison the GE62/72 is using a new dual fan system so more efficient cooling for the 960M GPU (and i saw it has 3 m.2 SSD slots.)

860M and 960M are based off the same chip so the performance gain is about 7-10% based off the clock speed.

Got 2 friends who bought the new GE series and playing Battlefield: Hardline on it. Syiok!
