Hi,

I have been trying to contact asus via email but no reply. i hope u guys can help me here on which channel should i go thru.

I have sent my laptops to be repaired at Asus Service Center on 9/7/14. After waiting for few weeks, i called and asked. They keep telling me that my laptops is still undergoing some sort of maintenance. Only after few months of chasing, they told me that my laptop is missing. They hv promised to replace my laptops wth new ones as I have just bought the previous ones but until today no news from them. I hv enquire many many times regarding this but nothing happens.

Pls advise.

3 choices,

1. Directly contact ASUS or ASUS MY on this matter, usually their PR will solve this type of issue better.
2. Post on the web and whatever places you can think of to gather attention till someone automatically contact you to solve the problem. This is Malaysia, and the general rule is "you don't kecoh, you don't get it".
3. Report on consumer tribunal regarding this.

this is really ridiculous, and is totally unacceptable. asus seriously has issues in choosing their service center operators here in Malaysia. how in the world could the laptop be missing while it's under their care? it's obviously an insider's job to me. a laptop submitted to be repaired since last year, having unresolved status for such a long time, until reached the point it was declared missing. come on asus. that is so unprofessional.

i think this is a serious case that should get the attention of consumer tribunal.

right, pm ASUSmy (https://forum.lowyat.net/user/ASUSmy) to see if they can shed some light on your issues. there is an ASUS Malaysia at fb. might worth a try also.

which service center is this?

1. I did no 1...calls, emails and went to the center more than 10 times.
2. Not so sure no 2 applies or not coz sometimes if u dont kecoh they think u r not serious because i deal wth them directly and properly for the past 10 months but nothing happens
3. No 3 done too after they hv declared they hv lost my laptops. That is why now am seeking for advise from others.

maybe doesn't work in this case, but maybe loss due to the absence of laptops. however imo it's more practical to ask them to keep their promise, i.e. giving the owner new replacements, at the shortest and definitive time frame.

the last time case was somebody email to Asus Taiwan report regarding the poor laptop service which lasted months until it backfired back to Asus malaysia to replace the customer with a new and latest model available around the same price range.
