About the DAS 4C series, can you confirm is it really using Cherry MX switches?
Reported it's using cloned switches from Greetech.

And, that price... LOL.
Don't you agree it's too over?

Thank you for the kind encouragement. The diminishing value of MYR against USD (in fact, against most major currencies) is really not helping much.

Don't think so.
This is similar case like Razer, people continue to support regardless of their pricing because they feel worth and confidence about those brands.

Still, many M'sian will buy DAS since they have some keyboard review in internet.

But, Razer fail ultimately. Using Kailh Switches, and too much RMA units.
I guess, it's more like Marketing and BRAND names.

[attachmentid=4411069]

it will be something like the picture above but with winkey (of course) if you desire.

You can opt for clear or frosted acrylic. other colors then sendiri spray.
*
Whats the full specs? Alu plate or acrylic plate or no plate?

QUOTE(Epix @ Apr 14 2015, 03:38 PM)
Poker 3 comes in aluminum originally? I'll wait for that... Do you think that there will be a backlight variant of the Pok3r? And how much doo you think that will cost? Thanks for the help, really appreciate it smile.gif
*
Rumoured to be +$10 USD for the backlight version.

QUOTE(Epix @ Apr 14 2015, 04:14 PM)
Do you guys buy stuff from Massdrop? How do you buy from them? How much more expensive is it? Thanks, planning to get some keycaps from there..
*
Sign up > join a drop > pay with paypal > wait for items to arrive. It's not really cheap after you factor in the exchange rate and shipping fees and the waiting time. Shipping costs about $7-$15 usually depending.

Sometimes some guys here will organize a group buy to share the shipping so you could just tag along.

Also if you want to get keycaps, can look for it yourself in taobao or look at the previous page, cloud is organizing a group buy for taihao double shot PBT keycaps currently.

Yup I'm just curious. Since I'm a developer and the founder of codekeyboard said this:
*
Its nothing more than gimmick. Just another TKL

I'm not much of a developer, but I do work on lots of scripting, vim, powershell. And having custom keyboard is the best investment ever as you can re-arrange and remap your own keys, with multiple different layers, for different purpose and programs, all at hardware level. Or HHKB with teensy, if you can afford it.

And the face & frustration of other people when they try to type on your keyboard and got confused laugh.gif

Quovadis123, your observation is correct. The 4C series is indeed using the Greetech switches. Hence, on Das Keyboard's website, the 4C series do not state Cherry switches in the specs.

You can read about Greetech's review here:

For massdrop iinm above Rm500 only have to pay taxes.

For taobao just go to service noticeboard in lowyat forum and look for an agent to ship them for you

In my case, 60% attract more people in the office because of the 'cute-ness' size
