The Cthulhu RTA is just a Goblin with top fill. But I think its got a big tank. Goblin users are using the small tank for better flavour. I'd rather wait to see what UD has to offer- Goliath V2(shorter) or the rumored single coil tank.
I passed on the Goliath V1 cos its too big and ordered more Goblins instead.

Really quick explanation of the differences here, you have the RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) and the RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer). Many RDAs do not have a huge liquid capacity and would be required to be held upright most of the time to avoid leakages as they do not have a "tank/container" to hold the liquids in. It is called a RDA/dripper because you will be required to refill the liquids after a few vapes due to the lack of storage. RTA on the other hand will have a tank to hold the liquids hence the ability to carry/store more liquid and since it's secured it is possible to commute and move about with it tucked in your bag without the fear of spillages. With that being said, some RTAs have the tendency to leak despite it's intended design so I wouldn't say all RTAs are leak proof. However as stated earlier, main difference is RDA = drip e-liquid/juice after every few puffs and RTA = higher liquid capacity.

Also the term Rebuilable means that you are able to rebuild your coils which is different from tanks such as the Aspire Nautilus and Subtank Mini as they have replaceable coils (except when a rebuildable deck if provided, in this case the Subtank Mini)

Thanks for the clear explanation, since you say RDA need drip juice after every few puff, how bout RBA? Is it same case with RTA?

Aspire replaceable coils also last as long as normal coils right or longer?

RBA = Rebuildable Atomizer / RDA = Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer / RTA = Rebuildable Tank Atomizer.
When they say RBA it means it's a rebuildable and basically it's like a blanket term for RDAs and RTAs.

I cannot confirm if Aspire replaceable coils last longer than replaceable coils of other makes but generally coils that are built/rebuildable will have a longer shelf life if you maintain it. I haven't read your previous posts and I assume you have not started vaping and if that's the case, don't jump into rebuildables just yet but rather try out a set with changeable coils until you're ready smile.gif

I'm now using eGrip and RBA case, try use a week with this RBA then change to stock Joyetech base see what's the difference.

If I were to upgrade I will choose changeable coil more than ready made one. Outside service one RM5 while ready made one is terrible expensive sweat.gif

Not a cheap hobby I'd say. Salute for those who spend a lot on vaping.

Try putting a little bit more cotton as you wick the coils.
May be that will help, how many watts are you vaping?
*
My build is 0.7 , firing at 15-22 watts .

yeah put more cotton. But if you smoke high vg based, less cotton or else less smoke when u vape. PG based liquid thinner. maybe thats why ur chamber flooded which result in spitting.

Noted !

If i am putting high VG liquid into my subtank , is it better to make standard coils ? ( spaces between each rep )

Since you're into eGrip's RBA, you will encounter leaking juices from the bottom of the airflow hole... Please ensure that you stuff more cotton to the coils, enough to cover 2 out of 4 liquid holes... That will stop leaking...

I almost gave up on eGrip many, many times until I found the solution... The last attempt cost me like 3 hours and quarter bottle of Rude Beer liquid.... sweat.gif

Yes! there is a leak after I fill up but after that no more. If use stock base will it leak?

Wow, that's a lot of waste. How's the Rude Beer juice btw? Seems like that and bandung flavour is best seller.

I found that using standard coils on a lower wrap taste better because of the cover area have more wicking and juice tongue.gif

Using stock base (OCC Coils) would expose to the tendency of leaking from the side airflow hole (where the little screw is).. Just keep using your RBA, and try to spread out your cottons during wicking like I mentioned earlier...

Sirap Bandung high VG... Don't waste your money on it unless you're using a dripper... It is seriously for cloud chasing, but the taste is so-so for me..I threw away 1 tank of the juice inside my Atlantis when I first started coz I couldn't taste a thing out of it... sad.gif

Rude Beer, as it is... Sarsparilla at it's best... Initially I got turned off by the "minyak urut" after taste/smell... But after a short layoff, I managed to enjoy the taste rather throughly... Just finished my stock on Tuesday... And I am actually thinking of getting another one..

If you love cool, fruity flavours, you gotta try Tundra's Tropical Cocktail... I can't stop promoting it... thumbup.gif

Anyone using Magma dripper? I am thinking of getting a daily RDA.. My Holy Grail is just too huge on it's bore.... Need something that fits a 510 drip tip instead of having something huge like a metal dildo shoved to my mouth... biggrin.gif

Considering of getting a Magma and a Derringer next.... smile.gif

Guys, thinking of giving tis a try.... Is egrip ok for a beginner.... I smoke about 10-15 sticks a day...not hard core...
Can u guys give me link to how to maintain an egrip, how to fix it ....
Another Q ...sorry if it's dumb.... But since these liquids are sweet in flavor...will it add to diabetes... Just a query...thanks....

Keypad, try a Veritas instead. I'm tired of RDAs that leaks. I'm using the Venturi RDA which is pretty leak proof but I find the airflow a bit restrictive. The Veritas will give you good flavour, decent clouds and is relatively leak proof.

Egrip is excellent for beginner who might be over awed by stuffs like RBA, RDA, ohm, sub-ohm, wattage etc etc. With the egrip, just fill up & go. Need to change the coil too but that's easy.

About the diabetes thing, I don't think so as it's just flavour. You might wanna research on it more just to be sure but I did read somewhere before that it doesn't pose danger for diabetic but don't quote me tongue.gif

Having said that, I feel local juice brewer seems to be in favour of sweet or minty or both.

Thanks bro.... Sure look interesting but building the coil might be complicated for a newbie like me... smile.gif

Keypad, Veritas build in 2 minutes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-wL_8lioEI

Richard Ng shows a clearer build in his youtube video, but he should have reversed one of the wraps instead of having both coils running in the same direction.

I have the Vengeance RDA(cloners call it the Magma2). It was supposed to fix the leaking issues from the original Magma but it didn't. Has better airflow than the original Magma though.
