Try to get a Derringer with Stainless Steel posts. I wouldn't want copper, brass or cheap China gold plating touching my juice.

Can all you guys explain all the love for the Derringer? I know its cute cos its small, but the downside is its gonna get hot and it doesn't hold a lot of juice.

A guy on Fasttech complained that the bottom part of his POM/TEFLON drip tip melted in his Derringer!

You might want to take a look at the Black Oak mod. Group buy going on now at Focalecig.com.
Its US 45 in the group buy. Normal price is around US 80. It a 26650 mod and I think it looks better than the Kato.

@Cicero, for a start you can get a dripper to go with your iStick 20W. I have used a dripper on an iStick 20W. Use AWG 28 or 30 wire. Fatter wires will require more power. The iStick 20W only fires above 1ohm, so build above it. Ideally 1.3 to 1.5 ohm.
If you want to buy a mech mod, you'd also have to buy an ohm reader and learn about battery safety.

@saru04, the IPV V2 is fine. You should get the ever popular Kanger Subtank Mini instead. Get good batteries like the Samsung 25R or LG He2/4 and get a good charger. Happy vaping..

Saru, thats exactly why I advised you to get a safe regulated mod like the IPV. And the Subtank because you can use ready made coils and when you learn more, you can build your own coils on it. You can get plenty of vapour with this set up.
I don't recommend a mech mod to a new user because if you don't know what you're doing you risk it shorting, the battery venting or worse.

Saru, get the Samsung 25R, LG He2 or LG He4 batts. Get a good charger, preferably one that can charge at .5A and 1A. If you buy a cheap charger that only charges at .5A it might take 6hrs to fully charge a battery. The Efest Luc or Efest Bio is affordable and it can charge at .5A, 1A and 2A.

Save your money. There's going to be a bunch of new mods available soon. (With temperature control) If you're willing to buy from China its only gonna cost between US50 to US60.

The Cthulhu RTA is just a Goblin with top fill. But I think its got a big tank. Goblin users are using the small tank for better flavour. I'd rather wait to see what UD has to offer- Goliath V2(shorter) or the rumored single coil tank.
I passed on the Goliath V1 cos its too big and ordered more Goblins instead.

Keypad, try a Veritas instead. I'm tired of RDAs that leaks. I'm using the Venturi RDA which is pretty leak proof but I find the airflow a bit restrictive. The Veritas will give you good flavour, decent clouds and is relatively leak proof.

Richard Ng shows a clearer build in his youtube video, but he should have reversed one of the wraps instead of having both coils running in the same direction.

I have the Vengeance RDA(cloners call it the Magma2). It was supposed to fix the leaking issues from the original Magma but it didn't. Has better airflow than the original Magma though.

@ anak kenyalang, you really need to get an ohm meter to determine your coil build. Btw, what batteries are you using?

@ rzn, The Goblin is dual coil, the others single coil. I only have the Goblin so I can't tell you about the others. Good flavour, good clouds & most important for me is that its tiny (in 3ml configuration). 41mm tall without 510 and drip tip.
I didn't get the Subtank cos it seems every Tom, Dick & Harry has one!

@ rzn, 26AWG, 2mm ID, 10 wraps. 0.63ohm. I like small pocket friendly setups so I use it on a Cloupor Mini with a Derringer drip tip. Cloupor Mini only fires above 0.45 ohm, so I had to build above it. I feel that it wicks better with a 2.4mm ID 8/9 wraps but its tight in the Goblin. I'll be switching back to 2.4mm ID. I got mine from China (authentic) for US20 only. (Yeah, I'm a cheapskate)

@ anak kenyalang, Yellow LG should be the LG HE4. Good batt. The ohm reader on my Smok M65 is really inaccurate. Off by .2ohm (lower).
