i love aventus and without a doubt, it is the most popular frag. I also got caught with the batch variation hype and own few bottles of it. If u buy new aventus, let it macerate for awhile. It will get better after few months. Or else get nishane hacivat, not a dupe, but share similar vibe to aventus. People in the fragcomm also refer hacivat as Aventus Extrait. It will last the wholeday. Price per ml, slightly more than aventus.

I ordered from a carousell seller for a rasasi la yuqawam and just received it today as previously many local dealers did not have stock for this frag.

want to ask is this legit? seems the batch printing underneath is different than the tobacco blaze that I bought previously from Luxury Perfumes

the carousell seller seems to have quite a legit rating hence I decided to get from him as far as I believe there is no fakes for rasasi in market currently: https://my.carousell.com/gerodakota/

was also abit disappointing that the la yuqawam foil printing chip abit  sad.gif

picture for u guy's reference:

Looks similar to mine except the address. It's legit IMHO. I dont find any red flags etc based on your picture. The seller also a legit, dealt with him numerous of time. How's the smell?

My SOTD.....
Very unique scent....
Kinda remind me of Issey Miyake Ambre Noire..
Maybe due to the dried fruits...
The composition and blend is very smooth indeed
as expected from the high line of Rasasi

Nice boruzz line there. Heard a lot of good thing about this line especially asrar indonesia, atheer combodia and this abeer Malaysia.

SOTD. Aventus Cologne.

Open with Fruity blast like the OG for the first 15mins but added with mandarin orange note and more vetiver. U also will get reminiscent of CAHSEE. I dont get mint notes here. Definitely lighter than the OG. Very suitable for our weather. Longevity is between 5-6 hours with moderate projection. Nothing ground breaking here, but is is a really nice fragrance especially if you love the OG.

SOTD - Le Maroc Pour Elle by Tauer Perfumes
This is the best Jasmine scent for me. Balsamic syrupy jasmine. Men can totally rock this. Got it from essenza-nobile.de for EUR88.24 in June 2014. Any Tauer fan here?

Yeah. To contra off the shipping fee. I see that the price has increased to EUR105 for EdP. I also have the 02 I got in Apr 2014, which was EUR83 excluding EUR10 shipping.

BTW, nice collection you've got there.
*
Now, their shipping fee is very expensive. 58euro. lol

Any of you guys ordered from fragrancex or fragrancenet before?

Would like to get some comments about these two sites.
*
fragrancenet no longer ship to Malaysia. Should be okay for fragrancex. Bought from this site few times.

QUOTE(Underhill @ Jun 15 2019, 01:11 AM)
This isn't aged, but culvated (injected) tree from a local plantation. I guess max is 7 years. I loved it, despite it's just RM120 per ml. I tried an aged wild ould (probably from Terrengganu) which was not for sale, but I didn't 't really like it. It smells pure 'oil' without any sweetness. I've aged Cambodi which smells like rotten fruit lol.

I tend to like 'cheap' oud, recently I also purchase 3ml of "Elite Oud" from ASQ. This one is only about RM720 or so per 12ml.
*
I heard great thing about Grade ASQ kalakassi Aged Oud. Wish i can try them. One of my Qatar friend fully recommend it. He mentioned, most of them only wear pure oud. Not even blend.

I've tried it, it's RM9,000 a tola if I remember it correctly. I'm not an oud expert by any measurement, I don't really enjoy it.
*
Yeah.He mentioned around 10K++ Riyal per tola. I also havent learn to wear/appreciate pure oud only. Hows the ASQ "Elite Oud"?

It has a mild barnyard, and a typical oud sweetness. Love it but the projection and siliage are weak.

owh. Tq for your feedback. As for oud fragrances, which are your most favourite?

FdB Oud Noir not bad also, shared similar DNA as TF oud wood but better longevity. Thanks to you bro!!

Another oud cologne that I enjoy now is LV Ombre Nomade.
*
Hopefully i can try the Ombre Nomade soon.

Scent/Watch of the day - Cuir by Mona di Orio
Sweet ashy leather. Not your typical suede leather. Got it from essenza-nobile.de in Feb 2016 for EUR117.65 excluding shipping.

Initio is the hype brand which i yet to try out..
Heard so many good things about them.
As for PdM, funny enough i only enjoy Herod and Delina.
Both Layton and Layton exclusive seem too generic to my nose.
*
I enjoy Habdan Herod n Carlisle from PDM. Both of these brands are under same umbrella.

QUOTE(gl0be.iv @ Jun 18 2019, 12:52 PM)
Have you tried intio rehab bro? Reviewers are saying good stuffs about that one. Among the best tobacco scent is what they said.
While I do love my DHI, I like the extra darkness and complexity DHP provides. But both are very great designers no doubt and performs extraordinarily.
*
I havent try it yet bro, because a lot people relate it with the Spicebomb. My next purchase from the house might be Oud for Greatness. B540+oud. Sounds nice. icon_idea.gif

Looking for a good deal for that before pulling trigger. Most important thing, never buy at retail price. rclxs0.gif

SOTD. Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne.

This is a lighter and brighter version of Elysium. It has similar vibe to BDC but with a smoother blend (maybe because of heavy grapefruit note in both). I enjoy wearing this during the daytime. Longevity on my skin is around 6-8 hr with moderate projection while the parfum edition is 12hours++.

Tagging bro locozz03 for this. thumbup.gif

Need to test LE more often. Both LE and LC dry down has its similarities due to the same tonka being used. Nevertheless, if you like LC, do not hesitate to try LE.
*
Nice haul bro. Your selfridges Plus expiring soon? Wonder how they did the tax calculation. Sometimes 5% + handling fees, sometimes 10%+handling. Sometimes no tax at all. Talking about similar range of price.
