hi guys.. I've been rocking on versace eros and dylan blue for quite some time..

wanting to get in something new into rotation that is more towards leather or oud smell..

any recommendation below the rm500 price range that has good performance and not too sweet?

also is it better to purchase from airport or is there any recommended online stores / retail places to get frags at discounted pricing?

currently in mind planning to get the versace oud noir but willing to hear other alternative options from sifus here

  any source to try these two? Was thinking to get a decant.

I like it, the rose takes the center stage. Almost the typical western ould + rose combo.

Like others just said, you can't go wrong with Versace Oud Noir and La Yuqawam PH. I'm not sure where you can test La Yuqawam PH except you buy a decant, but you can just walk-in to TF KLCC and try out Tuscan Leather (both are about similar). Since this is gonna be your first leather centric cologne, I highly suggest you to try TF Ombre Leather first since many people find TL/La Yuqawam PH tend to be very offensive on their first sniff. So my suggestion is go mild while your olfactory system trying to adapt to this type of scent.

As for oud, you may want to try YSL M7 oud absolu on top of oud noir. It is not listed in luxuryperfume own web store, but it is on sale in their Shopee site. I never had any experienced with the vintage M7 (the era where TF was YSL creative director), but according to Fragrantica they both are about similar. M7 was the inspiration for TF to release Oud Wood. Oud Wood is brighter while M7 is richer and darker. If you like Oud Wood you will love M7. Walk-in to TF KLCC and test Oud Wood then ask yourself if you like it or not. If you like it, find luxuryperfume shopee site and purchase it (you safe almost 700 bucks). Blind buy safe, trust me.

Can’t go wrong with Creed line bro....put Aventus aside, there are Himalaya, Virgin Island Water, Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain Water, Original Santal to name a few bro...performance/longevity is excellent. Go check them out.

Yeah i'm into vintages perfumes right now because niche fragrance are too expensive.At least with the vintages I can still get it with a very reasonable price but have to be patient,not to mention lots of reading for me to be knowledgeable because it is indeed very risky if you don't know what are you doing.

Having said that,I'm still very much interested in niche,just have to be very selective with what I want to buy because of the cost factor obviously.
Right now got a few that piqued my interest, namely Azemour les Orangers,Resei Fort Kolonya,New York Intense and maybe some Oud from Areej Le Dore or Bortnikoff.
