Oud Saphir is a more fruity kind of leather scent rather than an oud centered itself.

I would recommended smelling Atelier's Emeraude Agar for a more Oud-centered fragrance.

In AC's DNA, some of them do lasts long but their sillage would be moderate as compared to TF's beast mode.

Guys, whats the different between duty free and normal perfumes. Some say that duty free the smell not last so long. Is it true? If for cigarette i can differentiate between duty free n normal one. But for perfumes i have no experience yet

I would say Oud Wood is more reserved. It's a pleasant scent but i find it to be a tad too quiet?

Oud Wood Intense is very "I am here, you will notice me" kind of vibe. Slight animalic but that wouldn't alter its scent much unless you over spray. One major differences = it smells nothing like Oud Wood.

OW = spam all u can (max 6?).
OWI = thread carefully, 2 spray tops.

With that being said, I finally understand why OW is a bestseller among all PB. OW is actually more reserved and a public-pleaser when compared to other PB which has more of a raw facet to its notes.

Thanks for your input. I don’t know how clary sage smells like, but i get a lot of sweet tonka in the opening. I did get that plasticky vibe which I believe its a combination of bitter almond+leather/suade, and I interpreted it as a synthetic leather smell. Agreed on the pricing and luckily i got it from Selfridges through my friend there, saved almost 400 and got the uncensored one.

I 100% agree with you on the differences between OW and OWI. Completely 2 different frags. To me, OWI goes similar direction as Oud Palao/Oud Ispahan, while OW is a less challenging, wearable oud frags out there.

Received my Oajan and Carlisle sample vial earlier today. First impression:-

Carlisle - Agreed with you, the opening was a reminiscent of Herod+Layton, and to my amateur nose I get more Layton than Herod, which I really love. The drydown is very beautiful, but a little bit boring since it reminds me of YSL LNDL with vanilla added to it (not the same though, but it has LNDL vibe). Full bottle worthy? To me, I need to give more wearing time before decided to purchase. I already have both Herod and Layton, so this one can wait.

Oajan - The opening is a bit piercing and sweet. I get sweet honey+sweet Tonka, then benzoin slowly came to the surface after a while. Do I like it....too early to say. Definitely need more wearing time in order to judge it worthiness.

I miss the 1st and 2nd.
For the 3rd & 4th collection, I managed to get the discovery kit before sold out after few days.
I even bought 9ml atomizer each from 3rd collection (cost around 60-80usd only compared to 300-400usd for 50ml)
Unfortunately there is still no small atomizer yet from 4th collection.

In principal, it's a line we shall try out in order to enhance our nose in perfumery world.
Their quality is top notch due to the natural ingredients been used.
It's definitely above luxury/niche line (artisanal).

1) LV Ombre Nomade (Blind Bought this after saw bro chiahau hype about it, and by looking at the notes in Fragr*nt*ca. Love this stuff so much)

LV Ombre Nomade - I blind bought this not because of the brand name, but due to the quality of the juice and of cause the smell. Ask the SA to spray on my skin and it is a love at the first sniff. Gorgeous opening I would say. I can tell that the Oud oil used in this juice is top notch and blended very well. Oud done in perfection, where you don't get that skunky and pungency of the natural pure oud oil, resulting a pleasent, smooth and elegent oud fragrance. I got that incensy and sweet benzoin in the opening too which I believe tamped down and rounded off the oud. After a while, I got a sweet and beautiful raspberry, similar to what I got from TF Tuscan Leather, and surprisingly I smelled a hint of leather too. I don't find leather listed as one of the note, but I'm pretty sure there is a leather note in here. Or maybe it is just my brain interpretation of a well blended saffron+oud+birch....I'm not sure. The dry down was something to die for, a sweet floral with a hint of oud and leather scents were reminiscent of TF Tuscan Leather, and Tuscan Leather being one of the frag that I love and appreciate the most. Performance is superb, it projects well around 2-3 hours and longevity easily hit 8 hours on my skin, but I can still smell it the next morning on my shirt. 2 cents

Can't resist that creamy gardenia and ylang-ylang while bergamot lingers in the background.
