Yep, and I got one of the serum pen. Have you ever smell Xerjoff Oud Stars Zafar? How would you rate it?
*
That one is truly an horror movie to begin with even u sniff out the sprayer, the smell haunts you for more than 1 day.

Till now i still remember it during my HK trip

Xerjoff decided to portrait the barnyard, fecal, animalistic characteristic of their oud. hence i am not a fan of their oud line

the stank, the fecal note, the barnyard animalic... so so so traumatic for me and my gf, tat whole day that note lingers in my nostril contaminate anything i smell

how i rate it?

as long as i am sane, i will not wear that on my suit, later client complaint wtf ur staff no bath for how many days edi and run away, any potential deal pun dah jadi habuk

Went for a short trip vacation to SG yesterday,Hence didn't post much.
Be able to feel the Christmas season is around the corner with nicely decorated Christmas tree,Light, and street art along the stretch of Orchard Road from Good Wood Park Hotel to Plaza Singapura..
Went to sniff sniff as usual at my fav fragrance house TF at Tangs... And was shocked to see their price went up again this year.  shocking.gif  doh.gif
The Flacon went up by SGD100 compared to last year where i haul my Tuscan Leather... And did explore and sniff a few scent ; Tom Ford Private Blend Italian Cypress, Tom Ford White Suede & Tom Ford Noir Extreme... Well,Both scent are quite comfortable and might in my nx radar for TF scent.

Went to Takashimaya and look for a Christmas Gift for my wifey. As wifey request a bracelet from Les Nereides and thot they have selection for fragrance as well that i can try out,But too bad, they only carry jewellery. As i found myself trying out a new frag-house from Olfactive Studio..
Something new to my nose as i picking up a few scent that attracts me. Flash Back & Still Life.

So,End up didn't managed to haul any fragrance on this trip..  sad.gif
*
yes bro,,, we need to pamper our finance minister ge... Kilian do have nice bracelet and the perfume coffin can be a great clutch replacement, with a key to lock and stand out among the Coaches icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

Especially In The Garden of Good & Evil series, their golden snake box icon_rolleyes.gif

She adores Forbidden Games so so much very deadly sweet peach and rose scent, gonna get her that when we go for our annual HK trip

Les Nereides and Olfactive Studio are complete martian to me as their style are not really my cup of tea so not able to share my 2 kupang.

dont worry come back empty handed coz this means ur bullet can accumulate and snow ball for a bigger haul icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks bro t0n3 for the head-up,
Yes i have to agree on bro statement.. There's no way you can find Chanel fragrance online with superb great deal.Due to their tight distribution and controlled branding.
Better to get from boutique or their own counter. I don't carry chanel fragrance too..While other brand are available in store for your selection.

Was thinking what will be the ideal scent / to wear on Christmas Day tomorrow.
Was thinking to go for something smooth, soft and calm scent.. As i'll be having a dinner with wife and some friend after work.  smile.gif
Have a great festive holiday fellow fragrance-head!  nod.gif
*
Haha tunggu apa... TOM FORD NOIR DE NOIR!!!!

Merry Christmas to all the big sifus here notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Since my unpleasant incident with our idiotic Kastam, i swear to myself i never buy from oversea online shop again, the hassle to go to Kastam office and they direct out to the wrong place, wasting my working hours to take time off meh that's it

If i got any scent that i want i just source it from Marver as he got alot of lubang and of coz Ethusis if he got any interesting testers available.

And over here in KL we got most of the mainstream niches already and i dont mind paying the premium if the human interaction and customer service is at top notch level ie my experience with Kilian at HK, Fragrance du Bois at Pavilion, Hermes Boutique Store at pavilion and etc

My Christmas SOTD: no other than Burberry London thumbup.gif

I got it some time back at ebay from this seller "ilbellodelledonnebra" based in Italy.  Yea, i did a search at L'Erbolario @ Gardens b4 I bought fr eBay & was told the same. Bro t0n3 is spot on abt the scent as projection on my skin is not amazing but it's adequate for me as I considered this as intimate scent. Absolute quality juice. Longevity is above average & somehow better on skin than cloth.  My bottle left with 20% & i'm gona get another bottle soon. At abt RM190 at current exchange rate, it's worth all my penny even its only 50ml.
*
Haha ic...

This christmas really hot!!!

My SOTD: Xerjoff Nio... Under the sun this baby project like beast rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

and on my shirt it last more than 1 day... My room is filled with awesome neroli scent that radiates from the shirt i wore yesterday lol

With this rate of wearing i very scared. Already at the point of no return edi and i cant imagine what will i do if i finished this bottle

Went to give jovoy a sniff while waiting my finance minister on her usually manicure. the price and bottle presentation for sure is inversely correlated. Heavy nice cap, curvy bottle and the box opening is similar to cassamorati. and they are edp which cost less than 400 brows.gif brows.gif

anyway i dun wan to try on my skin so the sa spray on the card, according to her, Ambre premier was the best seller followed by les jous sons fait

i am not a fan of kitchen spice amber and i am glad Ambre premier did not went that way. on the card it is citrusy, boozy light soft and sweet amber of which is perfectly fine with me lol which i was glad i did hold on to my dont buy online policy and get Roja Dove's Amber Extrait lol

And les jous sons fait is truly masculine... Booze, tobacco, amber

Then Private label... this one from the sprayer i oledi got the smoky dry vetiver. Certainly will revisit and try this one out.

My scent of another raining day is Dzing! It's a circus in a bottle. It smells of horse saddle, candies and musk. A soft animalic leather that is fun to wear. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the cap and bottle are heavy and sturdy when I first tried the tester.

Happy Tuesday peeps! 3 more days to 2016. My first purchase in 2016 would be Salome by Papillion. A contemporary take on classic animalic chypre. It's also happens to be the best release this year/favorite of kafkaesqueblog :-

Hi Bro, Less than RM 400 for 50 ml or 100 ml? Last time they offer RM 370 for 100 ml that's after 25 % disc
*
haha i am not really sure coz that time the sa told me 355 after less around 28x ish

anyway my thoughts of exploring further into this house is dashed when my finance minister say one short sentence:" dear, dont abuse the 1 bottle per 6 mths quota"

yesterday went to dinner wore By Kilian's Back to Black. Coz i miss the sweet honey lemon opening and honey caramel drydown of mamluk. and the honey in ambre narguile just not good as it was too thick and heavy syrupy. hence go with B2B to cure the honey addiction.

Haha, not in the mood of shooting anything like that now.

Thanks for the smart watch suggestions. I prefer the more traditional rounded watch, which I believe only Motorola has it in the market right now. I think we should stop now before this thread turns into rojak.

Haha just like perfume, watches are now part of essential men accessories already. to tell time is the most least important of a watch now. rather it is a piece of statement. small yet significant effect similar to perfume finishes up a person;s confidence hehe

Even im a tech junkie, a smartwatch is never a no go on any given business functions unless you are 007 under special mision to save the world lol. and it remind me of detective conan in a way lol lol lol

this is just my view la as i prefer simple, minimalist and elegance timeless.

Awesome Fragrance adventure everyone...  smile.gif
It was really fun and excited as a passion fragrance-head.. Is like addicted to try out all of the fragrance..

For me started out as all of perfume fans here,From designer range to above-average level such as ; Giorgio Armani,Dior & Chanel etc..
Slowly and exploring alternative scent for 'Niche' class and into 'Niche' fragrance..

As for New year haul,I hope to add in more  bottled in my collection series.
Don't really like to change fragrance-house collection,But happy to try out new scent from diff house.
Trying out new fragrance today by Terry De Gunzburg ; Bleu Paradise
Looking and discover her take on Rose fragrance...

~ A mysterious blue rose envelops the essence with warm cedar and reveals a sensual musky dry-down. ~

Haha my journey all start before my finance minister before she become my finance minister, she complimented that I smell nice that time I was wearing RL polo blue tongue.gif

Then continue to look for romance silver as she love that smell and voila that's how I came across this thread and that time still early v2 I think lol...

And since then spark my interest on men smelling nice, and those GQ and Esquire also not helping at all lol then fragrantica study ang moh reviews and kena kaw kaw blind buy and hate it and start hunting for niche alternative back then.

Game changer for me was my first blind buy of Serge Luten Chergui and start realise f those alternative then my first Amouage epic man tester from ayden git from marver have further strengthen my urge for niches. Well after got my nose trained by niches I know there are quality designers waiting for us to appreciate ie Burberry London, Polo double black, Cartier declaration d'un soir Hermes bel ami etc

My nose continue to develop and found one of my three most favourite notes - rose. It is portrait of a lady that kick started it followed by noir de noir and here comes Oud ie kilian rose Oud and Armani rose d'arabie

Haha slowly i try more n more niche such as roja, Clive Christian, etc and My tolerance for fragrance quality become thinner as no compromises when come to scent. Then I love the note of bergamots and neroli.

Haha my sotd is a party one - 6 sprays of Tom ford black orchid

Looking forward to your next haul. Amouage is king when it comes to incense. Tried most of their mainstream line and library collection, my favorite are Jubilation, Interlude, Gold and Opus VI. Most people I know of tend to shy away from those resins rich scents.

Tauer has discovery set you can choose and buy. Ships to Malaysia.
No worries bro. No need to stress yourself. Just relax and enjoy this long weekends.

My scent on the first day of 2016 is the little brother of Musc Ravageur - Labdanum 18. Le Labo is notorious for its inappropriate naming, which often doesn't smell as the name suggests. That's because, the name is taken based on ingredient with highest concentration used. The number denotes number of notes. Happy 2016 everyone and have a fragrant year ahead!

user posted image

Haha bro looking at le labo boutique really nostalgic and make me wanna relive my hong kong fragrance trip...

And my SOTD - By Kilian's Prelude to Love

Wonderful neroli iris leather scent which suits our hot weather just fine.

The neroli opening resembles TF Neroli Portofino and the iris just nice not waxy, and goes very well with the soft leather.

I dont think anyone can leave By Kilian's counter empty handed, that might be their policy i guess lol.

Im sorry to leave it aside after i gotten my Nio.

Le Labo i do like thier gimmicky botle marketing technique and i find Bergamotte 22 is worth your every penny if neroli portofino is your style and dont want to spend more to get the 100ml. and also rose 31. Only find these 2 ngam my mediocre mass market nose lol

Hi Tonney bro, how are you? I still have 50% left for DHI, thanks to you, its the only perfume that I have that is not citrusy. Will have a look at Amouge Isetan. After reading your experience with fragrance in the previous page, I feel like my perfume journey is starting to be like you. Start with that famous aquatic perfume, then try something heavier like EN & LIDGE, then something different and until now the perfume that you post nowadays, I never even heard about them. Every time I read your post, I need to google the perfume. I hope my taste wont change like you, because I don't have much to spend like you do. LOL. But at the same time, I have this feeling if I cant afford to buy it, at least just the joy to sniff it would be great.

Btw, would you recommend me straight to Amouge? Any other things that I should try first? How does this oud note smell?
*
Nice journey my friend. Yea when comes to exposure, our sifu tonney can be consider one of the few who is very knowledgeable when comes to olfactory senses, i really respect him and i do on and off refer to his reviews he share on fragrantica when comes to bottles i might interested to get where he already have his nose on.. flex.gif notworthy.gif

for amouage, you can dive into their latest Sunshine Men, a gourmand take on classic fougere, sweet light lavender; Reflection Man, Memoir Man, Ciel Man as these are on the brighter side before you go in deeper to their heavy incensy stuffs which is not my kind of tea ie interlude, epic etc

but if you are a rose lover, please dont leave epic woman out just because it is a woman frag, man this is as unisex as it can gets. and you get 2 frags at the price of one lol, opening resembles Portrait of a Lady by FM and moving towards drydown of TF Noir de Noir, earthy vanilla rose, im bringing this baby with me back to kl

Just done packing and ready to head back to KL to start work on monday, tongue.gif havent monday i already feeling the blues damn it lol

To make my entire driving journey a pleasure and relaxing, i decided to to with this SOTD

4711 cologne spray smells absolutely awesome and amazing scent. Personally like it vy much.
The draw back here is the longevity,Seems no longevity to me. Like 30min pufffff.... gone.. Can do a small decant and carry wherever you go.  smile.gif
Given the price,Couldn't ask for more.. Just carry a small decant and is good. And abuse it!  laugh.gif
But with the hot and humid Malaysia weather,The fresh scent is really nice
*
Haha true i do have the habit of carry a small decant going around but re-freshen like every 30mins lol sorry too lazy to do that.

Fresh scent always do well in our weather and i found out girls here prefer fresh scents more, so if anyone wanna look for any mass market appeal, go fresh, or sweet sensual scent.

so a well-groom, well-dressed and well-scent will most of the time left a nice first impression on girl, rest is up to your manners and etiquette
