I went to isetsn klcc last month. They no longer sell creed line.

Bangar Shopping Centre got one shop sell creed; inclusive aventus.

Tom ford you can find at one perfume shop at kl nu sentral
*
Creeds at Isetan WAS sold by Kens Apothecary so is the one in BSC. Apparently they stopped selling Creed since last month or something.

Go sniff it out.

It's not easy to fake a Tom Ford + since it's so niche in Malaysia, I doubt people will want to fake those range.
*
A lot if not all "perfume shops" in Berjaya Times Square sells fakes....the Tom Fords and Creeds sells for RM150 last time I checked. And the good part is the salesgirls would claim and guarantee its 100% original tongue.gif tongue.gif

Those looking for the best Aventus substitute might want to try this.....Pineapple Vintage Intense by Parfums Vintage.
Apparently this is one of the latest in a long line of Aventus wannabes and for some reviewers....the best. But its NOT really cheap cool2.gif

Still on the subject of cheap affordable perfume, I have recently encountered a surprisingly good alternative to the classic Dior Homme. To me DH is an iris masterpiece and this cheapo is longer lasting than the current DH drool.gif

Will update with a pic later today or tomorrow of the perfume once I have secured the bottle tongue.gif

Owned DHI & DHS. Both are very unique because of the iris note in them. DHS(2012 version) with iris still in it is so different compared to other sporty and fresh fragrance. The smell is so rich.

Btw, have you tried the alternative? Or ordered based on review? Zara? Kenzo? Perry Ellis?
*
Agree. Have tried one of the inexpensive alternative and it last longer than my Dior Homme (2016 )....thats why I'm going out to get a bottle as back up biggrin.gif

Just came in to say hi to all fumeheads. I still have my two tester bottles of DH from bestbuyworld real cheap, for like RM160 with discount codes that time.
*
Yalor....u hv been miissing for quite a while hehe. Yup me too bought a tester DH from them as well.

So here is the cheapo alternative with the same vibe as DH...just snapped one from Zara just now at ONLY RM89 !!! brows.gif
From now on if anyone asks me to recommend a cheap perfume suitable for office and casual use, this would definately be among the top of my list.
Wanted to test their Leather series as well since ppl are saying one of it has the Aventus vibe BUT no stock huhu.

My guess were right. 9.0 Zara Man.  rclxms.gif
I never bought anything from fragrancex by myself. Had bad experience joining one of forumer here ordering perfume from fragrancex, at last my money went missing with him. And he is quite famous here too.

How many time you bought from fragrancex? Any other online shop selling cheaper than them?
*
Haha good guess on the 9.0 from Zara thumbsup.gif

Never had any problem with fragX....must have ordered more than 15 times i guess. The only problem encountered is with Msian Customs and Farmasi.

Today I tested Jo Malone's Oud & Bergamot and it was love at first sniff. If anyone asks me to name a fresh oud scent then this would be top of my list, a departure from the normal rose/oud combo. Totally love the smell......BUT.....it doesn't last and the sillage is quite poor. Which is quite surprising really cos normally oud perfumes lasts a lot longer with good projection.

I got the English Pear and Freesia instead but yet to use it.

Any early first impression you wanna share with us? To me Jo Malone has the right idea in naming all their perfumes according to the main notes....easier for us to choose. And they have some really weird and little known ingredients as well..... eg. Green Almonds and Redcurrants. Green almonds ??? Never heard of them before hehe.

Its fall under fresh category.  Its hard to find fresh frag with good performance. For dior sauvage.; i am using my miniature bottle and what i can say it performance can be more than 4 hours. Still far behind compared to my CDNI or my DHI. However, the peformance it far better than La nuit dlomme
*
Ahaaa the sad story of YSL La Nuit huhu. Its a tragedy actually for such a great scent to have such performance. YSL should be ashamed of themselves for making such a reformulation.

First time buying from FragX by myself, after few weeks of thinking because of some bad review, afraid my money will be gone just like that. Happen before when I join buy with 1 forumer from FragX too, money gone, he also gone.

I thought the shipping fees is free, and no VAT charges. But, just YOLO. Hopefully I'll get the things. This time use paypal, if item didnt reach, can try ask for refund, maybe.

By the way, anyone can suggest where can I sample or buy decant of Amouage? Really want to try, especially lyric man.. Let me know if you guys able to sell a decant.
*
why are you being charged the shipping fees? u didint apply the free69 code izzit?

Yup my order oso otw and have the VAT charge....but its being shipped via FedEx. If not mistaken FedEX arrives at Subang instead of KLIA :-)

Did you get one after that? My problem is I am not comfortable sampling without buying a bottle, but if the price different is too much I might as well grab a bottle elsewhere(online or whatever). Are their SA okay? I just order a lyric man decant from a forumer here. But would like to try their other collection too.

My fav of the Amouage line is Interlude....a really loud and unusual scent. Have a few small samples myself and using it really sparingly only for special night occasions. 2 sprays is more than enuf....its that powerful.

Sauvage on me lasts about 7-8hours with 4 sprays. I find it spraying closely behind the ear and let the excess juice flow down made it last a bit longer. So 1 spray behind the ear each..and on the neck each on the pulse. I wear it sometimes when i go out cycling in the early morning and when finished its still there. Me with all the sweating and somewhow it did survive it . i thought it would just be washed away by the sweat and all but it manage to cling on. I could still smell it on me afterwards. Wifey loves this but she always asks me to wear xerjof 1861 more.
*
Listen to ur wifey....she has great taste rclxms.gif I am guessing 1861 Renaissance ? I am still amazed at the longevity Xerjoff managed to pull off with Nio and 1861 since its a known fact that citrus based perfumes doesnt last long.

QUOTE(Elinoir @ Sep 13 2017, 08:13 PM)
Amazing right! It renaissance. Im thankfull that my skin could hold it for about 10 hours everytime i wear it. However i know some people do get less. The SA that helped me told me that she only get like a few hours from it. I wear it behind the ears so whenever i woke up in the morning and washed my ears i still get the scent stuck on my fingers. Haha.

Different topic.
Today is my 3rd wearing of the latest one from amouage, Beach hut. Tested it from a sample vial. Hmmm. First of all if you love mint do try this out. Strong mint from the start and it mellows down as time goes by but that mentholated airiness around this never did left me. Honestly i enjoy mint which is a little subtle than this.

My wife kinda ruin it for me when i first worn it.  " hubby ada pakai minyak angin ke? " and i just went with the flow and answered yup (Rm1115 of a minyak angin haha) i do get it why she said that. It does have that minyak angin kinda feel to it like something that i also get from prada lhomme. That mentholated airy vibe from the mint plus with the light florals in there. There is also vetiver in here that might be making that minty air feels a bit controlled and not too much of a toothpaste smell. It goes a bit like fresh cool damp grass. Green and uplifting. That wet/damp feel might be from the moss. My untrained nose here did not get a few of the notes listed for beach hut such as patchouli or myrrh. Woodyniss do fill in but to me its a faint one. But as for the name implies i still dont see why its called beach hut. Maybe slight beach smell because of that breezy dampness bit,  but what about the sand, and the sea, the salty air, the wet damp wooden floor and wall of the hut, or maybe even the hot sun. Where does that fit in ...or is it a different beach hut atmosphere that they want to give us. I dont know 🤔

As for the performance of this i get around 10 hours out of it everytime i wear it (2 spray from the vial) 1st time wearing this was around 8pm and when i woke up the next morning i could still smell it as a skin scent. Today i worn it at 4pm on my neck and i can stil smell whiffs of it this very moment so sillage is also great.  Perfomance wise , amazing \(^^)/ maybe even better right.

Finally, will i splurge my money for a full bottle of this? .....for now maybe not, but man honestly, i do enjoy wearing it. For me that minyak angin feel is just around the 1st hour or so and it does mellow down a bit afterwards. I totally would not mind smelling like that or smelling it on anyone else haha. It still smells nice, really. However, i wont be recomending this to someone else because for me i would say it might not be worth the price tag. But hey if you enjoy this and have the extra money to spend why not right. Who am i to tell people what to or not to buy. Do take time to test this my dear frag heads. Make sure to spray like 2 or 3 sprays of this and only this. no other fragrance.  just to make sure you can experience it at full. If you dont like it well u can just scrub it off.
*
Wowww!! That is one helluva of a review...nice one bro. I have yet to collect my sample vial from the KLCC counter, the SA there promised one when I texted her 2 days ago. Might go and collect it tomorrow brows.gif

Still on the subject of CDNI and powerful rose scents....today grabbed my bottle of "the other CDNI" to compliment the cool cloudy morning. As Edward mentioned earlier about the classic rose perfumes, this is really an almost spot on clone of Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. Marketed as a woman's perfume but a man can certainly pull this off as well...just be self confidant and you will get compliments from ladies mainly because they they love the smell AND intrigued as well why a man is wearing it biggrin.gif

I would say this is a better "imitation" of TF NdN than CDNI for Man is to Aventus....if you get what I mean hehe.

Been wanting to buy this for quite a while....so yesterday bite the bullet and bought the 125ml bottle and today I am a very happy man with not a single sense of regret. This is a fantastic scent with similarities to the original BUT made stronger and more mature with the added incense base. This suits me more now c/w the original since age has been catching up hehe. Wearing this makes me fantasize of being on a luxury yacht riding the waves slowly whilst sipping a cool glass of lemonade biggrin.gif

Am sure quite a number of you guys have this and enjoying the compliments it gets.
