Wow incense amber...nice...do you mind to describe a bit on the scent?
*
It's rather hard for me to describe here. It's in a different realm than Sahara Noir. SN is churchy incense + ambre sultan, CAA has the same quality of amber from ambre sultan but with some woody notes and balmy resins all blended smoothly you can't detect each note. All in all, it's an amber scent I have not smelled before.

Hi fellow frag head! I have favor to ask you guys.   icon_question.gif
Where do you guys find good 5ML empty atomizer/decant in KL?

I found a few at local DIY store and Daiso. I only found 10ML size for RM5+.
For the price tag, it's kinda a bummer, as I need around 15+ unit. Of course,
I can found cheaper alternative on Shopee/etc. But, shipping taking too much time (not to mention broken item/etc).

So yeah, just want to know incase if there's any store around KL sell the same thing with lower price from DIY/Daiso.

Thanks!  wink.gif
(Sample I found on Shopee) *it is cheap/direct from China I believe.

It's definitely cheaper to get from taobao. I have a box of 5ml glass sprayer vial I don't think I'll be doing much decants. PM me if you're interested.

I guess this one is probably one of the best sellers from this house. This is the first one I put my nose on when I was at their boutique for the first time.

Nice looking Casio DW290. I have the classic GShock square DW5600 as my beater watch. I knew I saw it somewhere before, it's the mission impossible watch.

SOTD - English Fern by Penhaligon's
Just a simple barbershop scent. I know, the scent and watch don't match.

Oh btw, how's your evilbay venture? Any success?
Once I've had the mini of the vintage one. Some said that the vintage is the closest thing to the original Fougere Royale..

Btw,my SOTD:

Yeah, Fougere Royale, the granddaddy of fougere. Never tried the vintage one but the 2010 re-launched version didn't smell like English Fern.

Is your Habit Rouge EdC from the 80's? It's $265 on evil bay. I've always wanted to get the current EdP version because it has the Prada Amber Intense/Tom Ford Noir EdP vibe.

Yes,it's from 1988 according to batch code(plus the absence of the bar code on the box)..Imo,any edc version will do since they were discontinued in late 90's.Restriction by IFRA started on 2001iinm but not really significant..The major one was in 2010 and the rest is history ...
*
Yes, I had gone thru' many disappointments after EU IFRA strict rules were imposed but I believe outside of EU, it should still be safe. For example, a fragrance house I got interested in at the end of my fragrance journey was Auphorie founded by two Malaysian brothers. I have Miyako. I get compliments wearing it to office and it's a true powerhouse. Also tried Musc Oud Maharaja. Ouch, that one was just brutal.

SOTD - Dzing! by L'Artisan Parfumeur
Opening reminds me of Leather Oud by Dior with the same barnyard skank. Like most LP fragrances, performance is just average. Got it from evil bay on Apr 2015 for 340PLN, which was around RM340 at that time (1:1 exchange rate)

SOTD - Miyako by Auphorie
I wore this at least once every week ever since I got it in May 2017. I'm left with roughly only 20% of juice, which translates to 6ml. That's how much I love it. What a bummer that it's now USD188. It was USD148 when I purchased it. I plan to let go of it so I can get a new bottle. Any taker?

That's the vintage CW with the italic Davidoff right there. I have the current formulation my wife gifted to me as my substitute for Silver Jeans Men by Roccobarocco. Silver Jeans together with Escape by CK were my special occasion scents in my early 20's. Like most Asians, I didn't wear much perfume back then.

Yes,I like it  more than fracas(current formulation that is..never try the vintage)The  tuberose in twilly is more restraint compare to fracas and the fresh ginger note that accompanied the tuberose  make it interesting and feels more unisex to my nose than fracas imo...

Try it.Maybe you will like it who knows? wink.gif
*
I see. Personally I wouldn't wear Fracas. I consider it as the queen of tuberose scent, which I bought for my wife. I really love Tubereuse Criminelle, which I consider as the king of tuberose scent. Unfortunately, TC has long been discontinued. The closest scent I could get was Fleurs d'Oranger, which I was waiting for a good deal of. Heck, I may just snatch it from strawberrynet now since they are having mid-year sale of 10% off in addition to my 10% loyalty discount hmm.gif

My SOTD is Interlude tester I got for RM360 only.

I think I've gone through at least one bottle of this. This one I got it from bestbuy-world.com on Jun 2016 for RM160.

This one smells 80% similar to Tolu by Ormonde Jayne and much cheaper too. I got it at a bargain price from Mustaka Singapore a few years ago. This one is a big wallop of tolu balsam goodness.

Nice! Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm wearing Cool Water today. In 80's mood. Thinking to add Casio A168WA to my collection. Can't wait to watch Stranger Things Season 3 tomorrow.
