Davidoff coolwater can fight with bvlgari aqva marine or bvlgari aqva ?

I also bought Versace  Eau fraiche and nautica voyage. What do you guys think?
*
Cool Water, Aqva and Marine, they all have similar vibe. If I had to choose one, I would go for Cool Water because it's a classic. Having said that, everyone's taste is different. Just go with the one you like most.

Versace Eau Fraiche is a nice squeaky clean aquatic but some reference it to glass cleaner. Voyage is quite generic smelling if I remember correctly.

ive been buying alot of perfumes lately lol, ever since i bought my very first perfume  tongue.gif  last 2 weeks, before this i never owned any, just stick to deodorant. Now I'm like discovering new scents everyday.

first i bought was hugo boss orange, recommended by a friend then i went to buy DG Pour Homme (current fav). Just receive my sample of Chanel Bleu men, pretty good smell to me. Then dior homme, smell really powdery.

Also bought creed aventus sample, doesnt smell that nice even though its heavily like by alot of people in fragnantica website.

Will go buy bvlgari aqva and aqva marine plus coolwater just to try out.

I see myself in you when I was just starting out in 2013.

My SOTD is Dior Homme. This is my best designer iris.

I read the about the reviews for YSL La Nuit seems good, worth trying it ?
*
It's worth trying IHMO since it's well-loved and popular. I had a small travel spray but didn't like it. Doesn't suit my taste. I find it a bit similar to Chanel Allure PH.

does it smell sweet?
*
I find it a little sweet but not in a way like one million bubblegum sweet. It's available at major department store. You can just go for free testing.

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Dec 18 2015, 04:41 PM)
Haha my christmas present

My sotd : Xerjoff Nio

This is undoubtedly the king of citrus. Opening has this super intense combination of mouth-watering neroli n bergamotte

The citrus opening is so real and natural which last and last and last which for me have exceeded my expectation of citrus opening dont last.

Then drydown morph into spicy woody vetiver.

Xerjoff under fragrance du bois really competitively priced and cheaper than hong kong. And overtake neroli portofino as my fav citrus scent. And cheaper too than 50ml tom ford private blend

And this have spoil my nose coz after i ever finish this bottle i will still fall back to another bottle of nio lol
I also tried casamoratti mephisto. Fragrantica reviews that similar to creed silver mountain water so i mah try and see first spray reminded me of Sospiro Allegro super class smw
*
Nice one. They say it smells similar to Mosaic by Imaginary Authors. I did test both out. I didn't find them similar.

May I know how much was it before discount?

After the 25% discount it's only RM585. That's a steal! Essenza-nobile is selling around RM780 too (167.23 EUR) excluding shipping.

went and blindly bought davidoff cool water, most regretful decision ever.
it smells really generic, like my indian barber.

gonna give it away,
next buy would be acquo di gio, smell the sample earlier, loving it, should have bought
*
Blind buying is like gamble. Cool Water is easily available at major department stores, which you can go for free testing.

My SOTD is Eau Sauvage by Dior.

yup...pretty bz lately...first time welcoming the new
family members smile.gif
no new haul bought from China as the fragrances
price there quite expensive even at Guangzhou airport sad.gif

i knew about their new release.
have tried all samples from their lines...
only very few have impressed me; falling into the sea
and a city on fire.
my advice, don't ever buy or even try their Bull Blood.
i got it FOC including few other more samples (free from Josh Meyer) which made me nearly vomit and nausea.
the bull blood scent is very strong and disgusting!!!!
*
Forget about shopping for fragrance in Guangzhou airport duty free. It's expensive and choice is limited.

Bull's Blood is one animalic polarizing scent. Not for everyone. Definitely no blind buy on this.

My SOTD is Cologne du Maghreb by Tauer. My only all-natural perfume in my wardrobe.

any idea how to check if a tester is genuine or fake? any guides here in lyn?
*
Try http://checkcosmetic.net. Just select brand and enter batch code. If it can't find the expiry date, chances are it's fake.

Another way is to do physical examination and also how it smells.

Going to sample Dior Leather Oud & Oud Ispahan tomorrow at Pavillion tomorrow (and watch Star Wars tongue.gif).
*
Even I find Leather Oud a bit of challenge to wear at times. Speaking of Star Wars, I've just done watching it just now. Spoiler alert, Luke Skywalker only appeared towards to end of the movie.

no case of fake perfume using a same batch code and attached it on all their products? btw, tat is to check mfg date instead of expiry right?

btw, if a perfume is unopened and stored in cool place, can is last beyond its expiry date, which is normally 3 years?
*
I think they could recycle the batch code but I've not heard of them doing so so far. The 36-month expiry date is just a reference. Perfume stored properly, air tight, away from direct sunlight and at constant room temperature can last indefinitely. Volatile top notes may be off. Perfume will age like wine. The older the better. I have a spray bottle of vintage Bal a Versailles (EdC) made in the 80's (dating based on packaging design) still smell the same as decant I got from surrendertochance.com.

My SOTD is Jicky (EdT) of current formulation. Natural lavender and vanillin with a touch of baby poo (civet).

QUOTE(Underhill @ Dec 21 2015, 08:35 PM)
If you have the chance to smell fragrances with raw natural ingredients, do not miss it. I mean, real musk (from deer gland), real aged oud (not syntactic, nor planted oud). I had the chance to experience high quality frankincense and incense used to perfume ancient shrines, Persian palaces, and mosques when i was Iran. It's out of this world. I asked locals where can I buy such fragrances. He simply said I wouldn't be able to afford it.

When I was in Dubai, on the other hand, was completely filled with the usual stuff. tongue.gif
*
I salute you my friend for having sniffed those essential oils of the real stuff. Yeah, agree with you that Dubai has the usual suspects you would find in KL/SG.

Sorry bro, only 125 laugh.gif

250 ml money also Kenot buy Coz they don't stock it.

If you wanna grab it, please support the Dior at Isetan KLCC.

The salesperson is polite enough to entertain my nose sniffing laugh.gif
*
Oh, Isetan KLCC now carries the privee line?

The price is way off my budget for a fragrance. A 30ml decant is sufficient for me like I have for Leather Oud, which I got from decantshop.com. Speaking of which, it's having 20% discount until 01/Jan/2016 . Use "HAPPYHOLIDAYS" without the quotes.

My scent of winter solstice is Midnight in Paris (EdP).
