Different doctrine I guess. Soviet saw it more as a cruiser with aircraft-launching capability rather than an aircraft carrier in it's own right.

It's kinda hard to songlap UN money.
If they gave 2 mil per APC, they expect 2 mil APC, not USD600k APC. |

QUOTE(LTZ @ Apr 19 2015, 06:39 PM) Lightweight torpedo for warship is the last choice wpn to be used against sub..... only for self defence purpose. If to be used for attack means suicide for the ship. For me doesnt matter what type of torpedo as long as modern torpedo Still better than anti sub mortar if you ask me.![]() |

I would prefer a flat top "helicopter frigate" rather than LPD actually. Still, if we can get chinese Type-071 on the cheap, I suppose there's nothing we can complain.

How about this?at this rate i think the hueland will even throw blueprint on how to make munitions for our launchers for free. we're one of biggest astross user after all still, sph juga tidak dilupa » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ![]() |

Agreed about building our own FAC. If Burma can build a stealth FAC, why can't we?

QUOTE(azriel @ May 6 2015, 10:17 AM) Since production lines for PT-91 already closed (and the Poles won't going to bother restarting them unless we bought >100 units), we might as well as getting T-90S/MS from Russia. Incidentally, I've just found an article of how Sudan Type-96 blasted T-72 (belonged to South Sudan, though they got those from Kenya) http://www.wantchinatimes.com/news-subclas...000048&cid=1101 Not bad for an upgraded T-55 |

QUOTE(waja2000 @ May 8 2015, 02:16 PM) anyone know our local defense company capable to design and develop own Sub-machine gun and Assault Rifle for Polis and Army. this already consider very low tech industry... SME ordnance can do that, as well as other company (including deftech). What's the point, though? |

Considering our fruitful collaboration with the Turks, I think they might offered us Altay.

QUOTE(thpace @ May 12 2015, 08:34 AM) Sk is vastly superior in technology but lack the manpower At more than 600k strong (+ 3 million reserves), South Korea doesn't really going to get outnumbered.Nk will just spam thousands of its conscripts to tge battle fill. Overwhelming SK South korea also has larger population than north korea (around 3:1 afaik). With US and Japan going to back them up, they're be fine |
