Weeeeeeee, i just raced with adrian with all aids off, except for traction, stability and clutch... guess what, i managed to race for 17+ laps. The only problem is too much oversteer and tyres locking causing the tyres to blister very fast.
As for me, i am using keyboard, and i can get some good time, im happy with it, overall, for a keyboard user, i am no problem with all aids off except for some important ones. What i worried about is, can i feat the pace with momo and gamepads? This post has been edited by jacky5283: Dec 30 2006, 07:10 AM |

not to mention that 2005 cars are much slower, and probably not that stable. There are no kimster setups for 2005 either

Hi all
First of all, thanks to adrian0229 for pointing me to this thread I wan to ask, do this game simulate the condition where lets say during free practice 1 session, the track gets faster as more car use it? Reason i ask is because i play in Free practice and seems like other car (AI) lap times increase significantly as the season goes on Im not pro at all in this game, just use keyboard Also the AI strength and aggression, what setting do u guys recommand for a player that plays with keyboard only thanks alot This post has been edited by Hornet: Dec 30 2006, 04:38 PM |

Hi Hornet, welcome... nice to see u here...
well, the lap time actually will go significantly more faster and faster depends on the suitable temperature of the track and the setup of a car, as more longer the cars run, the temp of the track will slowly increase.. well, we do not race with AI coz again we need to proof that "where the boys are separated from kids & baby" terms If u would like to join us, please refer to #post 1 and request kenny or edison (our leng chai race admin yeah, btw, i'm edwin, the slowest driver in F1c |

hello Hornet.
The game does have such a simulation where the track condition affects the lap times. However...because we set to for only dry conditions this season, the game maintains the track temp at 20 degrees and will not increase with more cars running in practice. This is necessary so that each race groups are racing in the same...environment. No unfair advantages in any groups. Most of us are using keyboard in this game...others are using gamepads, like Adrian if I'm not mistaken. Regarding the AI strength, I maxed all of them. They're not that fast really...its just that they're running with less fuel. If you put as much fuel as them, I'm very sure you can challenge their speed. Have fun oh ya...regarding the changes in weather next season...I've planned for the weather to be randomized before the race. Then the hosts will create the room with the predetermined weather choice. This post has been edited by young_soul: Dec 30 2006, 05:01 PM |

@Edwin: Don't lie. @Kenny (Young_soul): Great, randomized weather for the next season would be great. |

Thanks guys for all the comments
That should clear my question all this while about whether the trace affects the speed, and so that explains the AI lap times too i guess looks like I'll need to practice alot more already to be good like u guys |
