QUOTE(Bombgen @ Mar 30 2015, 09:03 PM) Apple is one of the selected pilot company to introduce new SLP (Self-Labelling Program). Which means SIRIM no longer provides the stickers. The company will have to self print their own SIRIM label. Refer to the picture below. But then I am not sure if Apple already started introducing the new label. In any case, there should also be a MCMC label printed in the box or at least the e-Labelling under the legal or regulatory of the iOS. |

I just checked my box of my iPhone 6 Plus, and can't seem to find any SIRIM sticker on it too. probably it was at the plastic when unwrapped it. The only possibility for you to confirm is to check the serial number. |

QUOTE(Bombgen @ Mar 30 2015, 09:28 PM) To be safe ask the seller to allow you to verify the serial number. We had a case here just recently how a forumer bought a phone which was suppose to be new from a shop and ends up being a used one. Better be safe than sorry. |

Just a few days ago, a fellow forum member posted this helpful information: -QUOTE(lisahasan @ Mar 26 2015, 10:27 AM) want to share: how to identify model, capacity & color from the below example ? MG**2**/A the 1st * (is the code for that particular model. 4= 6 & A = 6+) the 2nd * (is the code for capacity & color for that particular model. F = black 64gb the 3rd & 4th * (is the country code. MY = malaysia, ZP = HK, ZA = SG so, if yours is 6 black 64gb. the model in the setting will be = MG4F2MY/A |

Why would the retailer sell at a much lower price than original RRP if it's an official new item? |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Mar 30 2015, 09:50 PM) maybe you should ask the question to yourself. Cuz iphone sales are going down ..... 2.7k is consider high , some users are selling their telco units as low as 2.6k since demand went down a lot . And as for directd , satu gadget , gadgetjunction , they sell both ap and local unit so have to ask or else their "low" price will get you AP units , most likely from HKWhy would the retailer sell at a much lower price than original RRP if it's an official new item? |

The company will have to self print their own SIRIM label. Refer to the picture below. I received such a sticker from the courier guys appointed by Apple, when I bought my iPhone 6 in December. Can't really remember how it looks but that sticker does seem similar to the one posted here! But then I am not sure if Apple already started introducing the new label. In any case, there should also be a MCMC label printed in the box or at least the e-Labelling under the legal or regulatory of the iOS. |

While I know the off-the-rack price is indeed pricey, people still have the option of signing up for a two year contract with the four players offering the iPhone (DiGi, Maxis, Celcom, U Mobile) and voila, they can get their prized gadgets without burning an immediate hole in their pockets! Of course, there's also the 12-month installment payment for those who don't want to be tied-down with telcos and prefer to buy the phone on-the-spot! |
