Problem with the iOS firmware itself? But like the others said, do a backup first and then restore your device to factory settings, before reinstalling everything once more.

Hopefully that helps! rclxms.gif

Not just for Apples but even Samsung's two new high-end models will get hit, since phones and other gadgets are not GST-exempted items, unfortunately! sad.gif

Im afraid the whole market will just slow down. Everybody is burdened or will feel burdened no matter what the government says and will cut spending which in turn is not really a good sign for the market and economy. sweat.gif

Yes. We can expect the "purchasing power" declining after GST, really not good for econ if citizen spending less money.

Sorry to go off-topic but I just saw news (from Malay Mail's online version) that an UMNO GST task force member, Mr. Lokman Noor Adam, got booed and heckled by University of Malaya students while explaining about the reasoning for GST, during a forum organized by the said university. They were not convinced by the justification given by Mr. Lokman on GST, and it's hard not to blame the students as their spending power will indeed be affected!

And at the same time, that UMNO guy also got grilled by the other forum panelist, one Mr. Rafizi Ramli, to loud applause! laugh.gif

Also, by cutting spending, I worry that the bad times of 1997 will return, when spending was at a low point due to the economic crisis, sparked by the collapse of the Thai economy! icon_question.gif

Probably explains why the Samsung Note series is so popular here in Malaysia eh? laugh.gif

Personally, I feel the iPhone 6 Plus is too big as I carry the phone in my pocket at virtually all times. And the 6 is more than perfect for such carrying convenience! thumbup.gif

How to organize photos into albums and then able to copy out using Windows Explorer in their respective folders? Possible? My android all photos organized nicely and just copy using Explorer... need to merge some photos with iPhone now. Not keen on iTunes.

That's the unique thing about iOS 7, when the live clock icon was introduced. I don't see any other OS having such a feature, as of now! rclxms.gif

MIUI has real time clock, calendar, and compass icons. Yes the compass needle rotates as you move the phone! Need to install some themes. The original Xiaomi theme is without the compass AFAIK. I think they came out with it first before iPhone...

Its happening once in a while for me too. A bit of a nuissance but I think I can live with it. Its like the phone is lagging or something.  laugh.gif
*
The last time it happened, I used Silence toggle on the side of the phone. Toggled it on and off. Then ok already. Need to try it again but so far has not happened again.

If not mistaken 8.1.1 was buggy. 8.1.2 was more stable.

I've not face any issues with 8.2 yet although there have been complaints by other forumers.

Yup. mobile phones, tablets, computers and laptops all which previously had 0% Sales Tax will now be hit by 6% GST.

Unless you jailbreak, I don't think it's possible to organize your photos without iTunes.

I ditched my Mi3 just after a month of usage. It felt like an iOS rip-off and there were quite a number of bugs in the native browser and email app. It's a great value-for-money phone, but just not my cup of tea smile.gif

Xiaomi started by ripping off Apple. Surely you know that...

I never use native browser and email app in any phone so I guess my experience is mostly the same across OSes.

And their quite dependable Mi Power Banks, which me and my wife are currently using! laugh.gif

But still, nothing beats the original iOS devices, which are the iPhones (hefty purchase price notwithstanding)! rclxms.gif

Looks like we're going to see lower visitors to IT malls as well as Apple / Samsung Stores in the coming months, as GST starts to take effect eh? sad.gif

Although eventually, things should be back to normal but after how long, that I won't know! hmm.gif
