The issue is the GST for prepaid topup only.
Not for other things like call or data charges. |

the gst is collected upon topup only
so your credit will only be deducted 3/8/10 sens umobile quotes the charges as gst inclusive because the law requires so This post has been edited by dgboy: Apr 5 2015, 02:02 PM |

QUOTE(Seiro @ Apr 8 2015, 12:08 AM) Well its normal for a Malaysian telco to stall as long as possible. You know, they want to suck as much $$$ from the rakyat first. What's wore is that after raking in so much money, the service of the big 4's telcos has yet to improve. Ask any users about their respective carriers downside, I'm pretty sure all of them can tell you their experiences with it. And for the love of telco's , charging GST on call rate and SMS seems pretty dumb. |

i think one of the the reason is
1 - finish reload card with GST stock eg RM10 + GST 6% = RM10.60 2 - print new reload card with GST but less credit RM10 with GST with RM9.40 inside 3. - ready new internet plan like sabery chik said price less 6% quota more than 6% something like that |

Can someone tell me which Prepaid is adding 6% and which is absorbing 6%?
Digi & Maxis is EXAMPLE: RM10.00 + RM0.60. Umobile is EXAMPLE: RM10.00 (GST included) What about Celcom? Altel? and the others? This is bloody confusing and my customers are getting angry at me. My boss just say, charge 6%. Some customer face turned sour when I mentioned adding GST. And my supplier just said "All add 6% and you are good to go." in that context. I think I will tell my boss to stop selling Topup (Hehehe, as if he will listen to me ;P). Bloody Government can't solve something like this. sigh. |
