QUOTE(khaiandrew @ Sep 17 2016, 01:38 PM) The performance is nothing compared to the T3 right? You're only going to use it as external drive. And the PenDrive Nano read & write speed is 350MB/s. How much faster do you want?Doesn't look as rugged too :l The Samsung T3 only goes up to 450MB/s, not that much different anyway Pendrive Nano 512GB is sold at RM538 Samsung T3 500GB is sold at RM1239 You decide yourself |

QUOTE(g104 @ Sep 30 2016, 04:04 PM) u're lucky. come with retail package or not? Offcourse la. Bought new mah. Still sealed until now Don't want to open it as 1TB for OS is way too big for my MacBook Pro Already have 1TB in the 2nd hdd caddy installed in the original DVD drive QUOTE(hayrol @ Sep 30 2016, 04:36 PM) the when I'm looking to disk management it shows this. That's normal, because the disk has yet to be initialized, it doesn't even have a partition tableHaven't you ever bought a new HDD / SSD before this? Just pick GPT then press OK, from there you will be able to partition the drive Also, why are you doing this in Windows? Just do a clean installation lar, when you're doing the Windows installation, Windows will automatically display the drive in the setup and partition it accordingly This post has been edited by sHawTY: Sep 30 2016, 05:21 PM |

QUOTE(NyD-WiLL @ Dec 7 2016, 09:24 PM) What is UPS? Uninterruptible Power SupplySomething like emergency battery for your PC You can buy a new unit for around RM150 ~ RM200 If you love your system then this is the only way. It's just a 1 time purchase Just remember to save everything & shut down the system as soon as possible |

QUOTE(ainuddin @ Dec 8 2016, 12:19 AM) sorry if this is not suitable here, but can you recommend me a good UPS for a pc with a corsair ax760? just enough for some time to shut down in case of a blackout. noob here about UPS, but i think best is to get one with power rating same or higher than our psu? Just take the basic one will doI'm using 1 on my PC, but I only connect the PC itself to the UPS. When there's a blackout, I immidiately press the power button on the casing to safely shutdown the PC I don't wait for anything, even when the game is still running Monitor, speakers and everything else is connected to the main power source I also use 1 UPS on for my UniFi BTU & router. This way, even if there's a blackout, I can still use internet to pass the time PS: The battery on the UPS doesn't last forever, you need to replace it every 3 ~ 5 years depending on the surrounding temperature & how often you use it |

QUOTE(kundek @ Jan 10 2017, 04:33 PM) hi,i am new to ssd.....may i ask is this ssd? Yes, that is indeed an SSD, but it's an external SSD, it'll function like a normal external HDDwanted to get this, since i using sata2 only..but i read its external ssd..so a bit pening wat it mean It doesn't matter if your system doesn't support SATA 3 Any SSD has the backward compatibility function so even if you install the SSD on a SATA 2 / SATA 1 platform, it will still work |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Jan 15 2017, 07:07 PM) but the paranoid person in me have heard of horror stories some computer techs going though you folders and data. Do a clean install insteadThen you have nothing to worry about QUOTE(retroRT @ Jan 16 2017, 02:00 PM) or is it because from ssd to ssd there shouldn't be any much difference to feel regarding normal daily usage? No, you will not see any differences when switching AHCI SSD to another AHCI SSDIf you want to see real differences, switch to NVME, preferably Samsung 960 Pro, only then you'll see the difference |
