QUOTE(xalim @ Jan 24 2007, 03:09 AM) wat the ideal weight for person with 162cm height? There is no ideal weight for any person of any height. It's all up to what weight and shape you want to be or need to perform better in whatever sport or physical activity you take part in. QUOTE(HughieRmX @ Jan 24 2007, 08:30 AM) Most of the time .. I have been working from morning till midnight .. 6 days a week .. I guess I don't really have time to workout. Traveling to and back from walk .. on foot is that consider exercising as well ? At least 20 minutes a day. Regards, Hughie Make time, 15-20 minutes of weight training can affect a significant change. Try working out at home, doing the free bodyweight stuff that I mentioned in my prior post.

QUOTE(HughieRmX @ Jan 24 2007, 09:43 PM) HmmM .. I see. Thanks for telling me that Joey. Greetings malaysianPotato, It seems that have to eat more than 5 meals a day ? I saw some of the magazines .. they wrote there about 3 to 4 meals is more than enough already. Eating too much of eggs daily is that ok towards health condition ? Regards, Hughie You don't necessarily have to eat 5 meals a day, nor do you have to work as hard as people like darklight or pizzaboy do. But because as you've said you can't gain weight no matter how much you eat, perhaps taking up bodybuilding would work for you. The thread I linked has alot of information on eating and working out. You could read through it and get an idea of what you can do to gain clean weight.

QUOTE(LaerV☻ @ Feb 14 2007, 09:59 PM) are you joking... do you think you are fat...!!! your bmi is just around 17.3...!! This is why bmi is absolute crap. At 170cm 50kgs, if he has a low muscle mass, he could very well be a ball of fat.

QUOTE(lxwong @ Feb 17 2007, 12:36 PM) Go and eat BaKuTeh often and always ask for the fatty pork. If you eat 3-4 times a week sure will put on maybe 5-10kg after 2-3 months, easily! Not really, some people can eat all the fatty foods they want and never put on any weight. QUOTE(jones007 @ Feb 17 2007, 03:38 PM) then u'll die after taking them for 6 months Hardly, if it were that easy to die, I'd have died by now.

QUOTE(jones007 @ Feb 17 2007, 06:35 PM) eating those kind of fats everyday wo. u wont die i'm dead alraedy Trust me, you won't die in 6 months eating fatty foods. If it really was that easy, people would be planning assassinations with fatty foods. Unless you're already in horrible shape, have a shitty heart and dying liver, eating bak kut teh everyday for 6 months won't kill you. QUOTE(zeist @ Mar 5 2007, 08:39 PM) Nasi Lemak, let's see... The rice itself they add santan to make it smell good. Sambal, too much of oil. Rendang or Kari, too much of santan. Ikan bilis and Kacang, high cholestrol. Eggs and Cucumbers, ok sial healthy food. I thought peanuts had no cholestrol? I know they're pretty loaded on monounsaturated fats but as far as I know they have no cholestrol.

QUOTE(unamed @ Mar 27 2007, 02:22 AM) I want to gain weight but not by gaining muscle. Now I look very thin. I tried eating alot but it doesn't seem to work. My metabolism is kinda high. Are those weight gaining supplements really effective? Do they have any feedback or cause long-term problems? ... And what do you think you'll be putting on with weight gain products? Air weight? Think about things logically before you post.

Those of you just joining in this thread asking how to gain weight... Did you not read through the thread to begin with? Cause the answer has been posted several times throughout the thread.
Eat right and workout, that's all there is to is. The right diet and right workout routine will get you to whatever your goal is, whether it be to lose or gain weight.
There's a diet and workout thread pinned at the top of the health forum for those interested, there are also diet recommendations posted in this thread along with workout information and there are workout/diet journals in the journals subforum(which is new) where you can find details on other's workouts and diets and their progress which may help you determine what sort of diet and workout routine you want or help you in designing your own routine.
