Finally found it at shop. 🤗🤗🤗

My short review of Huawei Watch GT


Design - absolutely beautiful, the slimmest so far. I had check out Samsung Galaxy Watch also when I can't find this Huawei Watch GT, sorry to said Samsung Galaxy Watch looks bulky from side and I much prefer the design on Huawei Watch GT.

Functions - all basic functions such as set apps notification and call notification is there and it meets my requirement, the only missing probably is they is no way to control phone media player. I strongly suggest Huawei added this basic function. Also added basic reply of message, as well capable of viewing emoticon.

Watch Face - the bundle is well done but too little to choose from, if no 3rd party possible yet, I do hope Huawei added more watch interface on it. Also I hope they is some simple clock appear all times option when in standby mode. I don't might it get reduce to 10 days or a week with always on clock.

Battery Life - I just get it can't talk much, but my friend do using it and he said no issue to stand 2 weeks time, this is the main reason I very interesting on this watch, all smart watch shall behave like this, a 2 weeks standby time instead of 1.5 to 3 days.

Screen Quality - absolutely gorgeous! the watch face is big enough and not over size, and higher 454x454 pixel make this the highest sharpness watch in the market. Absolutely gorgeous!

If you only need basic notification with sport/fitness functionality with longest 2 weeks standby battery life, this watch is definitely worth to get for the moment.

If you love to install plenty of apps, then this watch is definitely not for you as this smart watch is running Huawei own proprietary OS and not Android Wear and no 3rd party apps available for the moment.

Yup. My friend already use 2 weeks with heart rate sensor always on and still have battery left of 25% on day 14

I just get it yesterday, so far until now where already connected to phone 16 hours and only drop 4% of battery life.

Ya I had ask Samsung shop the GW is around 4 to 5 days.

The Huawei watch GT for 14 days also is without AOD (no option to set also). GPS is off, heard rate always on.

Just hope in future Huawei added support of 3rd party apps then it will be perfect.

You sure it is always on? I believe it only turn on when you use Workout.
GPS is a freaking hunger thing, always on I don't think it can survive that long.

The Huawei website also clearly mentioned when use GPS, it only last 22 hours instead of 2 weeks or 30 days.

I search the entire Huawei Health Apps and no such setting for turn on the watch GPS as always. Basically they is no option to set for GPS.

I don't have that setting and that one is possible means your phone GPS not the watch itself.

Another possible reason maybe your Health Apps is older version and some mistake write there and Huawei fixed it in latest version, I ask this because I check mine is latest and I always update apps.

Also if GPS always on can get 2 weeks, why Huawei will write 22 hours instead of 2 weeks.

No idea, I don't have that setting and my main page also a bit different than yours. I don't have user name and unable to put photo on it. Haha!

Anyway since Huawei is mentioned GPS always on only can get 22 hours battery life, I don't think this will be the mistake written by Huawei.

I don't have that option and can't test also to see any differences or not.



I just ask my friend screenshot show me and his Huawei Health setting also same as mine don't have that setting.

Same version.

So far seems only you have that GPS Auto-track setting and also that Auto-scan for pairable devices.

Me and my friend both don't have this two setting.

Off course update, I love update and won't wait, once got immediate update, I immediate update at shop when it is just out of the box as update found.
