QUOTE(squall_kay @ May 10 2017, 07:55 PM) Still not used to v2.0 menu structure. Haha. I dunno how the v2.0 menu are, but the apps access is v2.0 style and those notification is v2.0 style. But somehow since owned Gear S3, I felt the OG Huawei Watch felt kinda lag. Perhaps it's aging factor. Lol The status area is also v2.0 style. Maybe I will buy Gear S3, check check 1st. Haha! This post has been edited by Andrewtst: May 10 2017, 08:39 PM |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ May 14 2017, 01:19 PM) For gear S3 with AOD on, by the time reached home around 9-10pm, it still left with at least 40%-50%. On those days with less notification, easily getting around 70%. Oh no! I need to selling my Huawei Watch already. Later I go open thread.Preferred to wear S3 rather than my old OG Huawei Watch. Any recommendations for high quality watch face that can rival Samsung 's stock version? At least Samsung stock watch face (may not great looking) but it just smooth, high quality with nice AoD compared to those watchmaker/watchmaster watch face. Some of those replicas watch face looks jagged. |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Oct 3 2018, 01:58 PM) Anyone still using the 1st gen huawei? Has it aged well? I used one a couple years ago but subsequently sold it after a year and went back to traditional watch cuz worry smartwatch value drop too fast. Atleast a traditional watch retains a certain % of its value even after many years. I still using it. So far so good. No scratch in screen and I had bend it many many times already For notification etc I wear a smart band instead, light, small and significantly better battery life. I know how to take care mobile phone but definitely not a watch. Haha! |

QUOTE(leongsem @ Oct 10 2018, 08:55 AM) As long the system is good. It is unnecessary to have wear OS or not.The battery life mentioned if true, this will be a very awesome smart watch. |

QUOTE(stormaker @ Oct 10 2018, 04:30 PM) I am ok with that. As long notification working for call, message, WhatsApp, WeChat, and line. Also ability to track step and health. All this is very common which I believe should have there by default.Watch face as long stock nice I am ok. I don't install much apps and extra watch face because for me I only need it to have notification. The watch screen so small, not fun play apps or games in there. Haha! QUOTE(juneong @ Oct 10 2018, 06:04 PM) if notification and health track, I choose band over watch, as much better battery life (I don't find any band beat Huawei Band interm of battery life yet). But I don't like band. Wearing band like wearing dog tag to me. Haha! It just simply I don't like it. No offence here. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 10 2018, 06:08 PM |

QUOTE(juneong @ Oct 10 2018, 06:21 PM) same lah, I like watch but I can't buy all smart watch, cause they have very very short lifespan + don't wear they will die off, so I go for band for notification + health track for right hand, left hand I wear my normal watch. Haha! Totally agree. It is not worth and can't as well keep like normal watch.not like our normal watch, I can keep it and change whenever I want to wear. QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 10 2018, 08:22 PM) IMO still prefer Wear OS, simply for ecosystem. Yes, Google seems to pay little attention to it, but at least it still ( still ) does. Latest Wear OS update just boosted my TicWatch E performance significantly. Ya but too bad Android seems not very care.Google really need killer product to boost Wear OS. Latest leak show new Huawei watch only compatible with Huawei/Honor devices running EMUI 9.0
If this is a real case. Then it is not for me anymore forever as I won't buy a watch no future proof due to I change phone every year and use any brand that interested me. Compatible to all android phone is my minimum required. https://www.phonearena.com/news/Huawei-Watc...n-leak_id109865 Smartwatch already difficult to sell and Huawei decide this move is a bad move. RIP the haven't release Huawei Watch 3 then. Haha! This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 12 2018, 02:52 AM |
