QUOTE(dlsl @ Dec 30 2015, 04:36 PM) recently change the gear s2 classic watch band to metal band: It do is but it will much awesome if you can find a same body colour steel strap. [attachmentid=5658941] [attachmentid=5658952] even remove all the removable watch band link, it is still slightly loose on my wrist. anyway, I think overall appearance is better for gear s2 with metal watch band compare with original leather band. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jul 7 2016, 04:19 PM) Might be expecting Google's own Android Wear I believe is price high. Android already in level to premium. Andriod own product shall be in premium level not cheap thing as Android already got entry level call andriod one. http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/07/06/ex...nt-integration/ Is time Android release a premium level product. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jul 7 2016, 09:35 PM) Huawei Watch, LG Urbane LTE 2nd edition not premium enough ? Those is too premium actually, haha! but Android own shall be premium also. Was hoping we could finally have SOC that's design for smartwatch, which I hope not only extend battery life but also bring down price. The smartwatch big issue now is as you said - battery life. |

QUOTE(GymBoi @ Nov 5 2016, 09:58 PM) Noted bro thanks for the heads up .... Yeah I'm considering Zenwatch3 or Gear S3 now, I really can't understand this Tizen thing still .... the official store for Tizen gear apps is "Galaxy apps"? I just want to browse through the store to see if they have the apps that I liked. Tizen is by Samsung, Samsung mostly do their apps in Galaxy Apps only. So if you want Tizen watch then you need to have Galaxy Apps and it best suite Samsung phone.Anyway regardless of what watch, all of them should do basic which is at least vibrate when our phone vibrates right ? I mean any notifications on the phone will be transfered to the watch, or if no gear apps, then the notifications won't go to the watch ? All Samsung smartwatch is running Tizen now and you only can install Tizen based apps not any Android Wear apps. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Nov 7 2016, 01:40 AM |

If you want a watch working with any new phone in market now.
Android Wear is the way to go. It not only support all new Android Phone but also 100% working with iPhone (just not much watch face to choose beside the original bundle watch face and not carry much of third party apps or games). Tizen watch only work with Android Phone (iPhone in working by Samsung but it is a very long time ago already and still could't get support) Apple Watch wise only work with iPhone and not support any android phone. QUOTE(tarm @ Nov 29 2016, 02:56 PM) seriously super bored with android wear, no much changes since lg watch era. hence my renewed interest in gear s3. I am ok with it as still use it as a normal watch with only needed is notification and also music player control.Google really need to overhaul it, even the delayed v2.0 doesnt show much changes unless its being delayed due to some major overhaul. Others than that it's not necessary, I didn't install and use any apps or games on it. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Nov 29 2016, 06:47 PM) In which case there is no practical difference between the usage for AW and Tizen. Because Tizen no iOS support, that why I give up.Aside from fapOS compatibility, Tien devices are able to do more than AW, although admittedly at a higher price point. Price wise I find both OS similar. |
