how's ur ticwatch E battery life...

in consideration to get new Ticwatch E or 2nd set of Huawei Watch...  hmm.gif

My TicWatch E battery life are better than my expectation.
My previous 2 modern AW ( Huawei Watch & ZenWatch 3 ) consistently have almost 2 days ( 5x % when I reached home ). TicWatch E are much better for me, about 30-40% when I reach home biggrin.gif

i do occasionally have notification delay on my ticwatch where my phone already got the notification but my watch has not.
i din enable wrist gesture, don't find it useful to me laugh.gif

Check if Android Wear apps on your phone had been excluded from Battery Optimization ?

I usually get notification for FB messenger 1st on my AW ( TW E & ZW3 ), 1-2 seconds later only my phone alerted.

Got to praise Ticwatch E's battery life, today wear it go out for 9 hours, while active usage are low, only 27% drop till I reach home are really good. If similar usage on my Zenwatch 3 and Huawei watch, for sure reach home with 5x% battery left.

Currently they(www.mobvoi.com) having 10% discount..
Where you got yours?

I'm kickstarter backer.
Battery life superb ( refer my post on previoys page ), way better than my previous Zenwatch 3 and Huawei Watch.
And somehow it's smoother than them as well, my zenwatch 3 sometimes stutter.

How u guys plan to replace the Ticwatch E battery if it's degraded after 2 to 3 years of usage ?

I believe very few people will hold on smartwatch over 2 years biggrin.gif I changed brand/model every year, last year changed twice.
For me, Android Wear are like fashion accessories now, buy for the looks.

You 're rich ... I planned to use it for many many years  biggrin.gif

No I'm not.
The method are simple, you buy new one then sell old one. Or in reverse.

In the end, you spend few hundreds per year but enjoying new toy every year. People often misunderstood some people who keep swapping gadgets, by selling old gadgets to fund new. I think it's much better investment than buy one and keep for few years, that 3 years old outdated and possibly not-working gadget will worth so little in the end. While gadget depreciate differently, careful buy and sell can ensure minimum spending.

Just my opinion.

S3 Frontier is more a pioneer smart watch from Samsung.

S3 running tizen while tic watch is by Android wear.
If looks itself
S3 wins hands on with professional look while tic watch look more a childplay
Looks are subjective, but FYI ticwatch S are IF Design Award winner. S are sporty design, E are simplistic design. Many elegant design from other AW

Apps
Android wear wins

Screen
S3 is running amoled display awesome visibility under sunlight and also comes with a rotating bezel . You can glance most notification by rotate than click.
Ticwatch using OLED display

Samsung pay
You can link your watch with your credit card and pay with your watch
Many e-payment options for AW, but mostly not usable in Msia

Build in loud speaker can make calls and answer calls.
Ticwatch and most other AW have build in speaker for calls and even music listening ( if you wish to )

Tic watch is alot cheaper but s3 frontier about 1.2k but I'll choose s3 gear anytime over tic watch .

Ip68 rated, Watch can sync with your phone through Wi-Fi, 2 days battery life.
Ticwatch and most other AW have IP rating, have much better sync thanks to Google's ecosystem, most apps/developer also had better support for AW, no issue reach 2 days battery life

S3 gear is more like you are on top while tic watch more like welcoming you to  smartwatch.

It's fine you support Samsung smartwatch, but too aggressive and biased comparison are not fair to those unfamiliar.
I added in info in red, those are FACTS available online, and I try my best not to add in my personal opinion.

Such 'honest' opinion, that one only state pros of his/her choice, while that so called pros or specification are also available on other choices.

FYI, I'm not the one asking, just cant stand some people aggressive bias.

May refer my previous post for battery life usage. 9 hours usage dropped 27%, no issue last more than 2 days ( 3 days if stretch it )

Yes. Look quite tempting, however just wondering about the experience on ordering from Mobvoi website directly

Should be similar to other US website.

I received my ticwatch E ( although kickstarter ) without SIRIM or tax. Sometimes it depends on luck.

Apparently, AliExpress whom just finished their Sales on the Sept 1, would matched ur Ticwatch's budget.
I nearly click the TicWatch S - USD157 (approx RM650), after minus the AE Coupon, Store Coupon, etc.
Should be a bargain isn't it?

And the E would cost much less, right?

For me, design wise, Ticwatch range is one of the most 'beautiful' so far in the market.

Any buddy here wana share about their TicWatch battery life performance? do u get Full two days usage without charging? or more....

So, during the sales, I ended up with the Lenovo Watch X (Leather Gold),- costed me USD52 (RM216), albeit its a Hybrid smartwatch.
One reason I got it was because of their stated 45 days battery life.

But definitely Im eyeing for the next Tic.  brows.gif
*
I use TicWatch E, after owning few Android Wear, I can say it has the best battery life among ( Moto 360, Huawei Watch & ZenWatch 3 ).
I can comfortably go 2 days without charge. Last week wear for 6 hours and reached home with 78% battery left. My own observation are that it's standby time are bad, mine can dropped that to 78% if I left it overnight and more sweat.gif

Now gonna wait if new generation AW will have good looking while affordable option, or wait TicWatch Pro drop price.
