Already updated to 14393 and it's only good for 1 day. Besides, the screen are not responsive as well. Thought its software issue and service centre reinstall windows 10.

I used my 650 since April without any major issues though I noticed glass screen protector does impact touch sensitivity badly. Hope you get on better with the 950 anyway.

I guess it was pure unlucky as it was the 2nd set of 650 that I've bought. The other one bought since 1st day it was out and still running very well.

Yes, ordinarily this device defies its humble specs.

hello guys,

so i bought a 640 LTE last week via directd@lelong, but when i opened up the phone, the screen got a green line artifact. sent it back to them, they said 640 no more stock so they are replacing it with a 640xl non LTE.

so the non LTE part, will it make any difference in my internet usage? seems like all phones nowadays got LTE, i was always on LTE on my previous 920. hmm.gif

LTE is not essential though definitely preferable as it is more futureproof.

Got myself L650. Set my expectation very low. Still dissapointed. Switch back to android after 20 hours. My god, MS need to kill this OS, or make it interesting.

How do you actually get to the c:\ folder? Google also no help.

What disappoints you?

Did you update to latest version of Windows 10 Mobile, build 14393?

Use File Explorer or Files to reach Phone Memory.

Hi guys,

Anyone able to get around storage issues?

I am due for an update but it keeps saying I don't have enough space.

I have set for all new downloads for apps, photos, videos etc to be saved in my SD. Only certain apps like whatsapp has to be stored in the device.

As you guys know the 640XL is loaded with only 8 gigs (but I see here it says 7.28GB) while I already have 6.65GB used up. The system and reserved stuff alone takes up 5.70GB of my storage and I have 941MB of apps (I don't have any games).

The update notifier says I need 723.77MB free so I can install the update.

So I can't delete the system & reserved stuff and my apps well the biggest is my mail/calendar which takes up 677MB, I can't delete that because I really need that app. Whatsapp takes up 566MB and I can't move that to my SD card. The rest are small apps like One Note, Microsoft Edge etc.

Anyone facing a similar situation? How else can I clear space?

Thanks in advance!

Try clearing Temporary Files under Storage\Phone and browser cache.

And you can back up your WhatsApp chats to OneDrive or the SD card, then uninstall the app.

When you install back WhatsApp after updating the OS, you will get the option to restore the backup in the initial setup.

Thanks for this man, I'll definitely give it a go. I managed to move several smaller apps to my SD which cleared enough space for the update.

Will give the WhatsApp back-up a shot.

Thanks!

I don't think it is new.
Though I don't store my contacts with Google. Only with Outlook.

I'm using one year. Very decent phone in my experience and runs well on the latest versions of W10M, builds 14393 and 15063.
