my windows camera version is: 2016.729.11.0 update 8/8/2016.

when u launch camera app, you will see the 3 buttons, photo, video and panorama.

just goto windows store, and check for updates, and you could update camera individually...

I tried to update it via the store but it says already downloaded. There didn't seem to be an update option. And my camera still has only the video and photo options.

Is there supposed to be a 'check updates' option?

Change your Windows Insider to FAST and update your Windows Camera app thru Store.
You should get the latest version.

may i know why when calling, my screen become black, i cannot choose speaker, bluetooth, everything! double tap also not use and side power button only can wake up the screen after few time i click. any wrong setting?

before never have this kind of problem, just update to latest firmware only have this problem, pls help...!!!

I'm not sure what might be causing it but have you tried turning your phone off and on again?

If it's a software issue, you might have to send it in to Mobile Technic for repairs perhaps?

on and off many time already, but still same...

I think might have to send in to get it checked. I cannot recall any setting options that causes the screen to go black when in a call.

Mobile Technic is Microsoft's official service centre; you might want to drop by or call first?

Mobile Technic has rather good customer service.

I had issues with my LCD three months into using the phone; I called them and they said I had to put an order on the part to confirm I want it changed. I waited about 3 weeks before the part arrived, this was in January this year.

I went to their Ampang Park service centre to get my LCD replaced while still under warranty and as is normal at service centres - the queue can be a bit long if you come during lunch hour or if you come late. But I went in the morning and waited about 10 minutes before they served me.

I left my phone there and picked it up after lunch.

nope, because i scare will become worst. i need my whatapps record because of work, can it be backup??? because it install in phone, not sd card.

i change my screen before too, got yellow big dot. quick service but i really dont have too much time to visit them and a bit far also. anyway, tks for the advice....
