1. weak cellular signal strength
2. running backup
3. apps activity

Does it stay very hot for a long time? Good and simple phone for me. Love the cam.

if 1 then until the signal strength stable then only wont hot

common issue on weak signal strength place ..because phone will boost up it antenna gain to get better signal

Sorry, it's a 925. Yeah, I guess its due to poor Celcom recept. I either get no sig or just 1 bar at home.

Did not encounter these condition before. Only get's hot when running games.
Not really hot.. warm would be more accurate.

Btw I'm seeing tiny scratches on my screen..

925 got metal frame, so heating is more obvious. You could try hard reset if it's really bad.

I've not heard hard reset from the days of iPaqs.

How do you do one on the 925 and does it wipe off my server details?

Settings > About > Reset Phone

You need to back up your stuff and settings as hard reset will wipe everything

Yup, i think is Lumia900, he face the auto swift off problem.
later will ask which firmware he stay at, as previously nokia ppl told him if he update to latest firmware he will face loss of his data, hence he long time dint update his phone firmware

Please while charging using PC's USB power, it won't really get hot, but will be warmer than normal. You won't have this problem when data transfer is turned on via USB but if turned off, it is warmer. But charging are faster with this.
