Sifus,

Do u think my strategy can generate profit?

CIMB Greater China Fund - 40%
Kenanga Growth Fund - 10%
Ponzi 2.0 - 30%
RHB China - India - 10%
Aberdeen Islamic Global - 10%

I am a bit sceptical about europe. However, I prefer to invest most of my money into asia. is it balanced or too aggressive? Any comments?

P/s: I'm new to fund investment.

For instance, you might have thought that you are an aggressive investor who can cope with a high level of risk based on the results of the risk profiling test. However, in practice, if you find that you always panic too soon every time the market dips, and get overly euphoric and pump in more money whenever markets are on a roll, then high-risk investments are not so suitable for you because they are likely to cause you to lose money.

I guess u are right. no right no wrong. I have set my goal dy. when i get 25% profit, I will switch all holdings into Ponzi 2.0. On the other hand, if i lose 20%, i guess i have no luck. switch all holdings into Ponzi 2.0 as well. haha. but i have a good feeling about greater china. especially Hang Seng

Well, u don't need a big chunk of money to go into property. And I would always advise getting a property first before embarking on aggressive fund investment.

Right now a lot of fluctuations in the funds. A lot of volatility in stocks. If u invest in high risk funds, make sure u're reading the 'signs' well and keeping a close eye. Things can change within days. Keep an eye on this thread. Ull get a lot of info from the sifus here.

You have balls of steel. Provided you are investing with spare cash which you don't mind burning, I think your super aggressive portfolio is OK. I would probably have used the same strategy if I were younger with nothing to lose.  biggrin.gif

Good luck mate. May the Force be with you.

I don't know bro. Call it the sixth sense of an old timer.

I have the same feeling about the China market now. I can't wait to get out from my China funds once the ROI reach a certain percentage.

After China, which region u wanna jump in?
