CIMB Global Titans and Aberdeen Islamic World Equity are both good funds. They are not sector based or country based. These funds will last the distance and perform in the long run. Just hold on to them and be patient.

If you wish to recover faster, then practise DCA or better still, DVA. No more lump sum investing for you OK?

Good luck and don't panic.  smile.gif

Do you have a simple formula on VCA?

Im prepared to have 30% of my portfolio in the Greater China region now.

My dilemma now is do I choose a fund that's focused in Hong Kong to take advantage of the H shares or do I choose a fund focused in China?

Wow. I have not seen this thread so active before. It's all about China, China and China.

We shall see what happens in one month's time. The difference between chasing hot funds, market timing and asset allocation.

RHB-OSK Cash Management Fund 2  - yay or nay? if i am to reinvest my money but I am still at the deciding stage.. read through the thing and cant find a catch

but if i am undecided for too long, the amount invested could go up or down as per NAV ?
*
hey Jerk, if the NAV goes down, most likely is

1. Fund distribution

only, but for extreme cases:

2. Malaysia Bankrupt

or

3. End of the World laugh.gif

Hi Guys, Want to ask.

When you guys started, do you save up to let's say one big lump sum. Then you split your capital into multiple sectors/regions to build up a portfolio?

What if I don't have that big lump sum yet?
*
NVR Lump Sum.. haha, Better safe then sorry~ wink.gif

Then, if let's say I'm following monthly top-up. I top-up to different chosen funds each month and rotate?
*
It all follow your own preferance,

My own plan is top up every quarter, you lets say u have RM100
You could divide it into 5 months? all depends

so 1 month RM 20
= RM4 to 5 funds etc~
