rm679? This is surprisingly cheap if you convert from 1399 yuan to myr. Meizu m1note is coming soon to Malaysia at the price @ rm699 while china only sell it for 999yuan...

Bought at rm675, and china 2gb version is 1499 rmb if not mistaken. Both are slight different category where some consider 5.5 is too big. |

QUOTE(customer2 @ Mar 4 2015, 12:27 AM) M1 note is suitable for me because i like larger screen but i dont like they charge so expensive for it... 999rmb basically is unable to get one, as majority already grab by scalpers. When check from reseller, cheapest one also around 1.1, where some even reach 1.3k rmb. There are plenty 5.5 incher in the market nowdays for mid range but 5 incher is getting rare. |

Just saw in one of the earlier pics, the sim2 is clearly labeled 2G. Sim1 is 4G supsupported, though. Antutu ![]() Basemark X ![]() Epic Citadel ![]() Vellamo Browser, Multicore & Metal ![]() ![]() ![]() Was thinking of getting this, but now that it's confirmed to be 4G + 2G, I think I will skip. I need to be able to switch data between 2 simcards without needing to physically swap cards (currently using Zenfone 5). Think I will wait for Zenfone 2 iinstead, hoping Asus will continue the trend of dual data sim (4G+4G or even 3G+3G at least). |

QUOTE(xpresside @ Mar 3 2015, 10:56 PM) Three reasons why I put the P90 outta the list,1. 1080 screen on smartphone, to me, those ultra sharp screen somehow hurts my eyes after reading for a long time. If watching movies on TV, that's a different story. 2. It consumes more juice from my precious battery, not to mention GPU needs to work harder when rendering due to the extra pixels. 3. I don't trust Intel in smartphone because of Asus Zenfone problems. QUOTE(nevland @ Mar 4 2015, 08:42 AM) some are skeptical with the benchmark... it certainly outnumber the last year flagships. Then, 2015 could be the year of Mediatek As P70 has only be with me for half day, I can't tell much yet. BUT but but.... From a two years Nexus 4 user FIRST hands on feeling, the very first impression at yesterday was like, WOW, the feeling is so familiar, unbelievable. In short, I am happy at the moment. Oh to those who asked about camera performance, don't give too high expectation on it. Wifi reception is better than my naked Nexus 4, even though P70 is covered by the original backcase. Now during toilet time, I don't have to move the phone around to seek for signal. |

QUOTE(nevland @ Mar 4 2015, 09:02 AM) I have to travel to our neighbour a lot, so i have two sims with data plans (one here and one there). Tried using single sim phones before, but finally got tired of having to switch off phone, remove back cover and swap cards physically on arrival. Since my zenfone 5 does not have the best of battery life ever recorded, i was hoping this one could be the perfect fit. I dont play games, but i do a lot of reading (LYN for one). |

For such price and specs in local market, there not much complain on the phone already. For phone price range from rm500+ to rm600+ range which both sim could support 4g, you will need to look for those chinese model, such like coolpad f2 fhd. This phone is certainly not bad as a backup phone for this kinda price. Was thinking of getting this, but now that it's confirmed to be 4G + 2G, I think I will skip. I personally dont rely much to benchmark, especially antutu, but there alot which use it as guideline so just ran it for their sake only, which is why also I ran basemark, epic citadel which is more game engine base, and 3d mark as well which I forgot to upload. Anyway those are just references only. hopefully real life experience will be good as well. Then, 2015 could be the year of Mediatek This post has been edited by sniperwolf: Mar 4 2015, 03:57 PM |
