K3 uses the same MT6752 chipset, so same modem. If you have problems with Wi-Fi and network on P70 then it should be the same on the K3, or any other MT6752 phone.

Some people said the reception is not as strong on P70. I haven't really noticed because my 4G and Wi-Fi is fast, at least in my country - Australia and my router haha. So I don't think it is a big problem

haha... ya... i bought from DirectD, my wife havent use it yet...

greetings...do understand cant compare v p780 coz higher spec. i just bought p70, it do really surprise me v the battery, use time around 3-4 hours only, i did tried limit to 3g connection only but it same...do u guys happen the same? even my previous phone v 2000mah seems like better...
*
please do install GSam battery monitor n see...
see whats the thing that draw much batter from ur side...
confirm again... 4 hours SOT is ok P70 depends on your network strength and also Screen Brightness...
double check the stats again after you install the GSam Battery...

BTW what phone do you use with 2000mAh which can last SOT 4 hrs????
my history tells me u either is not that heavy user... i mean calls...
my records for all Quad Core... all is SOT (Screen On Time)
Samsung S3 2100mAh = 3~3.5hrs
Pantech Vega R3 2600mAh = ~4hrs
MotoG 2100mAh (1st Gen) = 3~3.5hrs...
Lenovo P780 4000mAh = ~4.5hrs
Xiao Mi3 3100mAh = ~4hrs

switched on at 7am daily, fully charged status. I use it to make phone calls, whatsapp, FB, surf news sites & Google, watch some short video clips and as a tethering connection for my 3G mobile broadband with my laptop throughout the day. As of 1.05am (now), I am left with 17% of battery.  note- i kept my mobile 3g connection ON throughout the day.

so i'll usually charge it when i sleep every night. Needs to be charged once daily.
when i used it before in WiFi mode (no sim card inserted), battery lasted almost 3 days.
*
again... can u install a GSam battery apps for the info like @Decayed...
that will be more accurate...

QUOTE(decayed.cell @ Jun 3 2015, 07:47 AM)
I can get more than 2 days with 4.5 hours screen on time on W-Fi only. On 4G for a full work day (~10 hours) and Wi-Fi for the rest of the time, I got almost 1.75 days with 5.5 hours screen on time
user posted imageuser posted image

I haven't tested 4G only battery life yet but I think most people should be able to get one full day of usage
*
thumbup.gif good info you given to them... it should be like that...
install battery monitor and check which apps is draining battery and whether you really use it...
or it is running at background...

your SOT time is great... smile.gif where is your location in OZ... mind to share...

hmm... my cousin bought one of these model P70-A
everything is ok except one issue
when u press and hold one place of the screen, the second tap will be misplace, its like dragged...
cnnt detect actual place of the second tap when first tap holding...

well he didn realize at first but playing music games those its easy to encounter this issue

going engineering mode can check also * # * # 3646633 # * # *
when he tap one place the second tap is like dragged to the second spot from the holding place....

and really playing games drains quite a lot as he is a heavy gamer

Just realize at GSMARENA,
Lenovo K3 Note (3000Mah) vs Lenovo P70 (4000Mah)

Looks like Lenovo K3 Note have better result..
Not sure about actual usage...

Probably sourced from manufacturer spec, which should be taken with bucket of salt. Should not be possible for basically the same internals to perform better on a smaller battery. Doesn't even make sense. Also they have quoted standby time - no one leaves their phone on standby for 700 hours. Plus, who the hell talks for 40 hours on the phone shocking.gif

Wow. Is it on 3g/H+/4g/wifi mode or no data mode?

I can get 15-20 hours of SOT on Note 3 with Zerolemon 10k extended battery (with H+/4g mode).
