Currently the socket already relocate to foglamp switch <-my gaga dun have one
Dont want to mess with the cupholder area<-it belongs to my canned drinks/ashtray
Is it ok using extension. Would there any occurence of "overload" ??
Route the wire straight from batteries? Can it pose any danger?
Plan to add on/off switch....so my cabin light not glowing from day till nite
Still not dare to tap any electrical wire....this will be my first electric/electronic diy

Re "overload?"... As long as total current consumption does NOT exceed amperage value of ori socket fuse, there shld b no danger...
As for Bro Wankel's wankel idea, same same...with a fuse inline, there's practically no danger as long as it fulfills basic rule ie consumption does not exceed fuse value...
And, of course...wiring used supports total amps...
With good help, yu can even use an ori Proton Ignition Timer...& set up a circuit so that the lamp(s)/LEDs are on ONLY when door(s) are open & wld auto off few secs after door(s) are closed...
GOOD luck !!
