if yea, your 2 hoses connect where?

Yup, Bro...
Did same 4my ole 1992 Saga 1.5I...

Me connect only in-btwin PCV 2inlet manifold...higher suction (more oil fumes sucked out fr rocker cover)..
Me not worried re breather route cos me unker-driver nia...feel more of air intake flow towards rocker cover via that route... icon_rolleyes.gif

Re DIY OCT...
If worried abt oil fumes being sucked out via breather tube to TB, then disconnect tube fr TB end, shorten tube and add a separate air filter 2input end.
NB. Seal up breather tube connector @TB side.

That wld ensure 1-way flow of air ie IN via breather tube (thru added air filter)and OUT via OCT to inlet manifold...
Best wishes & Good luck!

Well, keep pumping my friend. Good things will happen. My mate from Gold Coast decided to quit his seaview apartment and went for Oz tour in his van few years ago. May be I am too young to give you a physical advise, but I wish we all make everyday count. zeone is also enjoying his life happily ever after here laugh.gif

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Firstly, may i say that the abv info is of no significance 2normal car drivers/owners...
Why do i say/feel so?
Cos in Msia, there are so many petrol stations @very close intervals!

Why wld anyone need 2drive their cars till the fuel low lamp starts blinking?
Can some kind soul pls enlighten us re the need 4that kinda info? Tqvm.

...... U must be wondering why are people so rude answering your question? Because there's no absolute answer, whatever people has to offer already offered and you're being stubborn asking the same question over and over again. So here you go.

I still can't understand why this question has been asked over and over again. Do you really want to have 1 time that you purposely try whether the last bar can stretched 100km and the car stalled at the middle of no where, you'll have to call for road assist to go buy petrol and fill up by the road side? Don't get angry ya. Merely stating the fact jek. If you're going to go rage, please take your car go and test out how far you can stretch until it stall, that will really prove me wrong, this world really got people purposely push the fuel reading until the petrol tank depleted and stall the car.

I, for one won't run my fuel low because the fuel pump gets hotter n hotter when there's no fuel. I always go refill when I still have 2 bars left and just info our fuel tank no partition inside the fuel tank and fuel inlet from tank to the pump assembly is just a small a 1 way tiny hole. With no partition in fuel tank you run the risk of starving the engine if ur fuel level is too low to flow into the inlet valve

It appears to be someone use a hydraulic jack and lift your car from the torsion beam. The apex of the bent is sharp suggested my speculation. Normally ARB bent is at the folding section. If it's an impact damage, the bend will be curvy instead of a sharp bent apex.
*
Hi Bro YAB... notworthy.gif

Re above effect on Torsion Beam...
Sincerely hope yu can advise on how ( when using a hydraulic jack when DIY-ing ) to best raise :
a) the complete Rear portion of the Saga;
b) the complete Front portion of the car....

So far me hv been juz raising one side(corner) only of either front/rear of car...@indicated positions stated in the User Manual...2b safe & not bend any part of the underside by putting the full load on2 that "anchor/support point" for the jack... tongue.gif

TQVM in adv.

I'm happy to say that jacking the front of mine is extra easy, I just push my trolley jack under the centre of the number plate until the pump handle touches, then just pull the jack back a couple of cm and pump. There's a support bar there that looks like it was made for my jack, and saves my aging body some effort.

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Apr 14 2015, 01:29 PM)
As Jim mentioned, the front has an anchor for your convenient to jack up the whole front part of the car. Sadly, there isn't 1 for the back. I have seen SC that use the tofubeam as an anchor point, whilst the owner wasn't aware of that. I've been to many tayar shop to do my footwork many times, the only thing I realized is they always use 1 jack infront and 2 at the back for both side. Once I throw the question to my dearest magician, he honestly told me he had it once but dare not to do it again. He had an Toyol Rolla Altis drove in, he had done the front part and went for test, to found that there's caliper jam at the back wheel. ABS keep on triggering due to unbalance braking. Customer is rushing his to finish off as need to travel back to other state. Out of desperate, he jacked the whole rear part up and start refurbishing the rear brake calipers with service kit. Once done, test drive was perfect and there's not more imbalance braking. ABS back to normal and customer took the car and went back to Kelantan. The horror part was, after several days later, the client called back and inform there's something wrong with the car, asking if magician did anything to the camber. The whole rear part of the alignment is out. Both rear wheel camber and toe are POSITIVE! Did he admit if it's his fault? No he didn't. He can't be sure if the client hit anything on the way back, or it was already damaged when customer sent in the car. But 1 thing for sure, the tofubeam is now bent UPWARD as suggested by the positive camber. Will he do it again? Definitely not. Die die won't do it again. If got caught... it's going to be painful. doh.gif
Do you jack the back at the torsion beam? brows.gif
*
TQVM 4yr kind informative response, Bro YAB!!
And, of course, the enlightenment of very possible disastrous effects to the Torsion beam!!

Frankly IMO...yr choice...
#1 : Best! Distilled water eg buy Spritzer distilled water;
#2 : RO water eg Tesco drinking water or fr yr own RO home unit.
#3 : if neither abv available, clean/filtered tap water...which most workshops use.... tongue.gif

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Yup...so-called "battery water" (in theory is supposed 2b distilled water but which ,nowadays..in reality, is mostly "de-ionised" water...)is another choice...i thumbup.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(wankel @ May 7 2015, 05:25 PM)
Here demineralised water is sold in the laundry section of a supermarket, meant for filling steam irons, but it's very suited for using in cars.

Best to avoid tap or even rainwater if possible due to ph balance.
*
Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Here, RO is most common being used cos of easily available home units 2supply hsehold drinking water (due2 poor Q of our tap water supplied by local authorities sweat.gif )...
RO water is also used in steam irons...almost as good (tho not as good) as distilled water...haha! icon_rolleyes.gif

And yup, tap water is 2b avoided if possible due2 its dissolved mineral content...esp in hard water areas... whistling.gif
However, in spite if that, many local workshops, rad repair shops etc do practise its use...
Some shops even advising AGAINST the use of coolant additives 2fill up radiators, believe it!! rclxub.gif
