Thanks for your feedback. I guessed as much too as Australia has banned Nerf Rivals for the same reason.
Australia ver of nerf also is made to be less powerful. It can be identified by its grey trigger.BLASTERS Thread V2, NERF, Dart Zone, X-Shot... 1st pg info

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jun 14 2016, 07:14 PM) Rather than dart pusher system, i think conveyer system is easier, provided can find the proper belt and motor. (like hyperfire) it's the bloody stencils! you thought it was free, but think again Hasbro pricing really doesn't make sense, take hammershot for example. About same price at flipfury (retail). |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Jun 14 2016, 07:08 PM) my take on that......not worth it. like it or not, you will need a mechanical thingy to push the darts into the flywheel. this will require space. stryfe is just too small. and as said, you may need extra power. TBH, I've actually physically seen a Stryfe that can do full-auto (even tried it out). Was one of the personal primaries of a local nerf modder.going the electronics route will require ICs and/or some sort of FET to time the dart pusher also note, full auto blasting will not give time for the flywheel to rev up, thus while it increases you shot/sec, decreases your feet/sec. I have no desire to make mine FA though, I prefer a controlled volley of darts rather than darthosing through a limited mag. If you want darthosing, get a Hyperfire (now in local TRUs) or one of these (if it ever comes into Malaysia ler): ![]() Dart Zone Scorpion v2: Now compatible (kinda) with Nerf Elite darts (and thus with all the cheap stuff). Not that I've ever seen any Dart Zone stuff locally to begin with lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jun 14 2016, 11:06 PM |

This I can wholeheartedly agree with lol. Though a minimised/pistolized rapidstrike (the "uzis" I've seen people made them into) is pretty nice to have as a CQB last ditch spray blaster in spite of this lol.Nonetheless, unless it's an "organised" game (where people actually go and pick up darts after a few rounds), running FA blasters WILL turn into a huge PITA to clean up after lol. Hell, it's gonna be a pain even if it's an org-ed game lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jun 15 2016, 12:33 AM |

Nice FA stryfe.
Can share how you did that? If it simple enough to be replicated with the help of 3d printer, maybe (if got time), i can help members here design it. Just for the lulz. Hahaha. |

QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Jun 14 2016, 06:10 PM) Thanks again for your reply. I shall wait till end of the year before deciding. About your question.... someone did ask long time ago need refer back to Page 9 start from post 169...On another note, have you heard of anyone, or perhaps yourself, who have tried purchasing Nerf from overseas during vacation and brought back successfully? Cheers. But the answer is confuse, cuz most our answer is hard to bring it back especially hand carry, even luggage check-in will need scan... so... most safety answer is "NO"... In other countries most luggage check-in is fine... but here is MSia... hard to say is ok... But if u buy at overseas vacation, better found the courier service to help postage, that sure is OK. Here the refer: http://www.airasia.com/id/en/baggage-info/...rous-goods.page This post has been edited by strikermac: Jun 15 2016, 08:08 AM |

BTW guys, about NERF blaster Grey trigger vs. Orange trigger...
I wonder this question for while, after I found some research in google... The answer is... the Grey trigger is a new type of blaster that decrease power. And the Orange trigger, yes is the origin powerful blaster. For example of testing... Orange Trigger = 71 fps Grey Trigger = 60 fps So if you found the blaster is Grey trigger don't mind or juz want to buy for kids then is OK. If you want to buy for yourself for adult blaster sport, better buy Orange trigger, or u need to modded it for more power for sure. |

You cannot really buy a grey trigger variant of the blaster locally, most grey trigger you see here are self-imported from China. Makes no different if you are going to modify them. |

And also, there's a blue trigger dart tag, which is an improved version of the original orange trigger.
