I am inclined to think that the AR removal only helps when a stronger spring is used. Stock spring doesn't take advantage of the AR removal.

Maybe you can try swap the spring for both blaster.

actually removing the AR from the elite line doesn't really increase anything by much. the AR of the elite blasters are much more superior than that of the old n-strike. it provide better air seal to eject the darts w/o actually restricting the air flow.

from my own experience, a stock strongarm fires more consistently that a strongarm with the AR removed.

so in shorts, there is no real reason to remove the AR from an elite spring blaster.

a better mod path would be plunger o-ring replacement and better spring.

looks like TRU screws up the pricing on hammershot again. in a good way this time . doesn't make sense if compared to that flip fury. the flip fury on the other hand was 95.5 at the counter.

I prefer flipfury, don't know why. Maybe I prefer i front heavy looking blaster...like the dart tag line.

i like barrel loader for some reason. amongst the elite line of barrel loading blaster, flip fury is definitely the one worth the money. finally i can let my children inherit my old modded maverick .

Flipfury perform... quite nice anyway.

izzit sharp, no Jam or Peanut Butter i assume

it jams when you fire too fast, same as the longshot. i think all the older n-strikes are like that, unless it has slam fire.

other than that, it's working great. better performance with elite darts. good for shooting your kids.
