Hi, I'm mewbie for nerf and decide to buy for my 5 years old kid to play with. Now I'm consider tis few model but don know which more suitable for him.
1) Recon MKII
2) Flip Furry
3) Stryfe
4) Retaliator
5) Cycloneshock

for kids that age, flywheel is best. they won't be able to prime a springer easily. my 6yo still prefer a stryfe. she'll have a hard time priming even a maverick.

however, stryfes are discontinued now. you can still find old stocks. or you can wait till hasbro release the white modulus stryfe.

I also thinking at the same doubt with my kid cant easily to prime a springer at the 1st place. other than stryfe which one more suitable? plan to buy 2 so I can play with him and he able to play 2 different type of guns.

It is Mega series springer more harder than other? Read from review seen cycloneshock is good buy.

and which one better if compare with Recon Mk2 and Retaliator?

depends on comfort. they're pretty much the same. note that recon mk2 can't use the banana mag.

stryfe no stock everywhere... if reissue as modulus then wouldn't it become more expensive than b4?

so yeah, it's expensive to begin with, and given it will not be mass imported to our shore, you can bet the price will be very unreasonable.

yeah, i've never seen one at any shop. i only managed to get one online(lelong). it's harder to get these days.

heard target exclusive can be found in metrojaya, at least that's the case for spectre in the pre-elite days.

As I always recommend for small kids, Nerf Speedswarm (if yoi can find one). Price about RM50 used. Full auto, easy to use and front turret for easy reload.
