I currently own a "New" Nintendo 3DS XL US version.
But i am eyeing on the smaller "New" Nintendo 3DS but it's not out in the US.
Was wondering can we still play US games on the AUSSIE or EU Set or is it region locked.

are the save datas stored in the games? 

if they're same then why dont we just buy second hand games since they're cheaper at least 40%?

Hi guys, might be getting the new 3ds XL from Heavyarm today, wanna ask, can I use normal usb cable to charge the 3ds with my phone charger (htc one m8)?

The package doesn't come with a charger..

Ah wait what kind? From Kyoyagami's reply it seems the port on new 3ds xl is not the standard usb?

Or does Daiso sell the kind that's the same for new 3ds xl?

After much consideration, research and bargain, finally got my 3DS XL (Even though unlike N3DS XL got C-stick, better 3d, better processor, more power but still......)  

And here's the grinds-my-gear part:
1. Some ppl mentioned Daiso actually sell the USB cable for 3ds but couldn't find it, what should it look like in package??
2. Screen protector first party or third party one better in terms of cost-reliability ratio?
3. Circle pad pro worth buying?? (Because probably going to get MH4U)
4. Did anyone think the N3DS XL is worth the hefty price in the long run? Since NX is next year, who knows if it's handheld or home console or both right??

Hi all, as per titled... Im looking to purchase a set of 3DS console but am in a dillemma as to which console to buy.
For Pikachu - well because it's limited edition and it's cute and it's relatively cheaper.

For the NEW 3DS XL - So that can future-proof and play any games that may come up only for "NEW" ... it's more expensive
Asked those game shops and they said that games will still be produced for both consoles with some exception like Xenoblade to be only for "New"... I am sure that game developers will make use of the NEW system and produce games which are improved in graphics.
Please advise !! 

Yea I understand but who knows along the line they may port some other games like Xenoblade to the 3DS. The NEW 3DS will always have the upper hand in playing games that were made specifically for it. (Selected games)

The 3DS XL on the other hand will be just fine with playing all the current & new games (my main intention is the Mario/Pokemon/cooking mama/harvest moon/Zelda) franchise which I think would not matter too much if I were to have a new or the 3DS XL.
But since I do not own any of the 3DS, I would like to find out if I should go with. Of course the NEW 3DS will be more expensive compared to the pikachu edition.
