and,yeah patrick puchong,he's a nice guy if u know him more.but alot ppl says he's arrogant.
i chat with him few times,i think he's nice.
alternator problem,and u changed it?my gosh,before u change did u check what's the problem?
sometimes might just caused by the regulator or relay itself....
that's y better buy a book n study...try diy sometimes to detect if it's rosak or still repairable.
the carb,please don't give to the workshop if u ever change it.
give to me please,or sell to me...
since it's rosak,i wana do experiment.i dare not do on working ones.

btw,your alternator,mind taking some close up pic and also especially the made in,brand.etc.?

Fatsam...yes there's auto shift classic beetle in m'sia.seen before but it's hard to get.
anyway u could enquire for half cut auto shifts from japan or chop shops that import from japan.

i wanted to buy twin IDA.but it costs about 1k plus...
no money la...and i havent learn how to tune twin carb.don't wana learn to fly while still learning to drive...i will tune single carb and absorb as much input as i could first...the current 1.2cc engine in my car now will be the best experiment for me.hehehe

i where got 1.3 oh..
i only got 1.2 n 1.6 lar...
hehehe...maybe later on i will try to learn how to repunch the engine... LOL!!!

go for twin IDA.i think it will produce best performance.as each petrol inlet was controlled by a single carburetor petrol inflow and also air flow.

twin progressive i believe it's great too,but it's single carburetor to dual petrol inlet.

nope...1.6 gearbox.yeap abit underpower.
but as i said,i felt 1.2 is quite powerful as well and i've made it to 90kmh max speed on the 1.2 so far.
