The Technicolor TG782n v3 can connect to 3G dongle? I see that it is stated in box that it can connect to usb 3g dongle. If yes, how to configure it?

You mean 3G dongle compatible list or printer compatible list?
I not too sure about 3G dongle compatible list , but it should works as you just need to fill up details that required in router under mInternet.
For printer , you need to do some setup. You can download PDF file from Maxis website.I copy the URL for you as below.

Printer Setup

I mean both... coz I see other router with the same functionality, they have a compatibility list. So I guess not all dongle/printer will be supported.

Guys, need your help on some questions regarding Maxis fibre.
I'm using Streamyx 4Mbps now and thinking of whether to upgrade to Maxis 30Mbps or UniFi 20Mbps.
I want to access my CCTV from outside so I read and understand on the first page that Maxis is using private IP and we need to manually request Maxis to change to public IP but don't understand why we need to subscribe to DDNS service? Isn't our router can keep tracking the public/dynamic IP itself?
If subscribing to DDNS service is the only way to handle/track the public/dynamic IP, howmuch is the subscription fee per year?
Thank you.

The problem is, the IP is dynamic. So every time you restart the modem, the IP will change. When it is changed, you won't know the IP address unless you check it from the internal network.

Anyway, there are free many DDNS services such as no-ip. So you don't really to subscribe to paid services.

Hi new user here.  Just changed over from Unifi 5mb to maxis 20mb.

I've got some questions to ask:

1.  Are you supposed to get a voip phone from the installer?  The installer was telling me that maxis are too cheap to provide the phone.  However on the installation form that a checkbox for a phone so I'm concerned that the installer might have pulled a fast one.  I only realised that when I noticed that my dect phone from unifi still uses telephone cables rather than lan cables.

2.  Managed to set up the service on my asus RTN15U router which has built in settings for maxis fiber.  The only thing I have not been able to test has been the VOIP phone which is supposed to be enable on lan port 3.

3.  Discovered that some websites (not saying which ones) are blocked and changing DNS setting on the router to the google DNS ones does not work.  These websites are accessible on unifi after changing router DNS settings.  I have access to VPN services but would like to know if there is an easier way of assessing 'prohibited' websites.

4.  Because of 3 above, I called up maxis immediately and change my IP to a public IP.  That was fast and relatively painless but it didn't solve my website filtering issue.

5.  Main reason i upgraded was because on Netflix.  Streaming now is awesome and a big improvement on vanilla 5mb unifi.

Yes... the newest package (with free voice call) doesn't come with the DECT phone.

From their FAQ:
QUOTE
Is there a phone provided with the Home Voice service?

No phones are provided with this service. You may purchase your preferred phone or re-use any existing DECT phone that you may already have.
Even though the DECT phone is using the normal cable, it can still connect to the LAN port. But the phone is using the dedicated phone port.

So now I know that even after using my Asus router, I still have to connect the Technicolor router to LAN3 in order to use VOIP service.  This is a waste of electricity.  Is there any way I can totally get rid of it? perhaps with an aftermarket voip phone that just connects to the LAN port?

There is one guide on this... but it is quite old, not sure if it is still applicable or not:-
