YTLREIT has not moved a lot compared to other REITS but it offers one of the highest yield(constant DPU).
not much capital gain but the yield is pretty good

i buy in batches of around $500 in value.of course my average cost per unit is higher.

yes brokerage do kill the profit sometimes(i buy 100-300 shares each transaction).REIT is a long term play for me,dividend more than offset those brokerages

i started with cash management fund,then REIT all the way till now(in the middle added some other stocks)

i also started small($500 3 stocks,the brokerage was eating away the profits 1st few months)

i started stocks when i started my uni education.$500 is a good amount to start for a stock (although i started with $500 for 3 shares)

also waiting for igb reit to go down to 1.2X(been waiting since last year lol) tongue.gif

IGB REIT Q1 EPS 2.03 sen,DPU 2.29 hmm finally IGB can hit 4sen dividend this time haha
