GST imposed on electricity bill after April...  whistling.gif

If so, why announced tariff lower for 3 months, which is a strange statement to start with.

my advise to ppl is if they have small fund (less than 2000 in total), better buy unit trust.

Depends.. People forget there are management fees in unit trusts. This alone makes it more expensive than if you were to buy shares directly.
*
just notice that this is reit thread tongue.gif agree with you that the management fees cost some pains, especially long term. However, I saw some ppl invest RM500 in shares (each transaction) where the broker fees alone can kill the profit.

I always said...

Lottery winners hold grand parties to celebrate, buy cars buy properties, everyone knows
But lottery investors losers will just quietly move on with their lives sleep.gif
And those winners usually don't keep track of their past losses whistling.gif

Fund winners quietly go on with their investing journey rolleyes.gif
But (lazy/herd mentality/high market-chasing) fund losers go on ranting and cursing about their losses and made themselves heard mad.gif  vmad.gif

Things with high probability of winning, winning got no news value, losing got news value
Things with low probability of winning, winning got news value, losing got no news value

those are promotional rates, which are only seasonal/temporary

"fixed" FD rates are now still in the range of 3.2-3.4%

So, as long as net yield 5% and above, still ok IMHO
